I don't think they're overly interested in the women's team as its a closed shop at the top so it'll take massive investment for little financial reward in return

Incredible that people are blaming TFG for a lack of signings this window. ‘They only want stability’, ‘Roma are their priority’ etc etc. Just to remind people, Moyes has said there is money and he has last say on signings. There is a recruitment team there, and a CEO but sure let’s blame the people who don’t do the day to day dealings within the club.TFG will be there to influence the sacking of members of the Board or the manager of things aren’t going right. They’re not there to scout or direct the club to make signings that’s what the board is for.

If there are signings to be made this window, loan or permanent, the only person getting in the way is Moyes or the Board but that will be either 1) Moyes does not feel they are the required profile / quality for the team or 2) the Board feels there is no value.

The difference between us and Roma are numerous but namely, different people running the club (manager, Board, recruitment team), different profile of club e.g. attractiveness, different first team needs. Any criticisms of our lack of activity in January should be aimed closer to home.

Still don’t really get why we haven’t done any form of deal with Roma for their players. I get the whole if you get into Europe stuff but come on. They could of sent us about 3 players on loan.
