As time goes by I'm getting more and more concerned about the anonymity and apparent lack of interest of the owners.

I can genuinely see Moyes being here next season, as well. They probably think the Premier League riches and new stadium revenue is more than good enough, and sadly Moyes is the perfect manager for that.

Absolutely awful for the fans, but the owners couldn't care less about that.

These owners want a steady asset without having to make massive investment. Anywhere above 14th with a full stadium is a decent result for these owners.

The fact they've still never bothered to attend a game says it all.

Following the Kenwright blueprint I see
Yep...and the sooner the fans stop spending their hard earned cash on everton, the quicker they will change their approach. Safest investment in the world that will grow massively every year whist spending next to nothing. We are a business and they are seeing us as a business opportunity to make money. The only thing is that their approach has worked this year, but if you keep spending the minimum amount every year, you'll end up in the position of a west ham sooner rather than later and goodbye pl cash cow.

In fairness if George comes in with a decent option to buy that’s a world away from previous January transfers of scrambling around for someone no one wants on loan. George could well go on to be a very good player.

Their lack of appearances at this club aside, I've been supportive of this lot so far.

Letting this window pass by when it could have been used to (almost certainly) provide us with the players required to secure European football next season is a pretty dramatic blot on their copy book, IMO.

Unless the final hour of the window brings a couple more in then I think we can see where their ambitions lie, and sadly I doubt it's with us.

14 months down the line.
Still no statement of intent.

I'm reluctant to get stuck into them tbh. In the summer they spent decent cash here. But this is just stupid if they want to get this club back into Europe.

We're 9th without even being great so far this season and it's there on plate in a terribly over-rated PL.

Baffling to me. They've shat the bed here.

Will depend how good George is. If he’s a very good player, and a long term target, and we’ve essentially thrown the kitchen sink at him then I can accept not getting any competent fullback through the door. If he’s miles off it then it’s a dereliction that we’ve not bought a right back in.
