These are very amateurish. A number of the fan-made crests were more professionally executed, showing a far better understanding of typography and layout.

The first one on the site doesn't look to bad now; just not into putting Everton in it, personal choice. The reversed version looks a lot better though

I know its not what we want, but that first one isn't actually THAT bad, some fan made ones are ****ing hideous, some are amazing, but imagine having to lookk through 500 crests, somebody will be unhappy with whatever option.
I agree with you...go with what the fans want...But it would be very interesting if the choices also included some of the fan designs and the 1991-2000 badge, essentially the Theo Kelly design. I would bet my house the 1991-2000 would win.

There was one fan crest that I really liked, very simple with a single laurel ringing the whole thing. I liked the old badge, but I'm a little surprised at how people seem to be married to a shield.
Because the majority of Evertonians kicked off when it was removed from the current badge.

Everton fans made some great designs but for me a circle shield was never an option in my opinion, just isn't right for me. Had a good 10 minute look at the 3 options available and for me it has to be option 1 though I hate having Everton in the design. We know who we are, everyone who doesn't support Everton see the tower, wreaths, motto and knkw who we are. If u dont well then you just don't know football. Option 3 is a ****ing diabolical attempt at a badge and looks like a rushed attempt 5 minutes before business closes to get one out. Option 2 is meh, better than the **** we have now but still just meh. We aint all gonna agree because there's always gonna be folk who think we r getting shafted with these designs. But while we have achance lets at least pick one out of them that has the things we agree we need and for me it is the shield, the wreaths, the tower, the motto and that is option 1 imo.
Yes because it had been removed completely. If you suggested to blues that it'd remain on the kit like the JFT96 emblem I'm sure it would have went down better.
For me number 1 represents everything we believe in - that's good IMO - we've been demanding the laurel leaves, the tower, the motto and 1878 and the inclusion of "Everton" reminds anyone who needs to know what our name is.. I'm perfectly happy with it and feel no need to find a reason to dislike it. It's all about change once again and some just won't like change. We're clearly not going to revert to (any) previous design and it mixes our requirements with an up-to-date crisp looking image. It's certainly more in keeping with what has gone before (both for us and if you compare the level of change with the level of change Arsenal fans had to put up with on their new crest).
No chance imo Tubey, **** that back of the neck ****. I want that motto where every ****er can see it, whether that be a little kid wearing his/her first blue shirt, opposition players, our players wearing the shirt etc. That's our motto and even though the board have tried there very best not to live up to it, for me as a fan that is Everton to me. Just my opinion though mate.
