Number 2 truly is terrible. From a design perspective, you'd expect at the bare minimum to have the tower and numbers central to the shield, but they're miles too low. How can a professional designer come up with something like that seriously???

I'm not sure why they went to 3 so early. Surely a cup competition would have worked with maybe 8 or even 16.

I was at one of the club crest consultations and none of which was said in there seems to be showed in these badges. Hopefully there will be a none of the above option on the voting

Actually, I've just seen the 'inverted' version of the first one. Miles better as white as main colour and would stand out more.

They all look amateurish and are totally un-imaginative. I wouldn't be surprised if they put these joke badges out so people settle for the current one. Utterly god awful the lot of them.

Instead of merging what the club want, which is simplification, and what the fans want, which is the old badge back (basically), they are now taking the old crest and adding Everton to it.

In reality, the motto needed to go. Every other big club has streamlined the badge and gotten rid of it (other than city). The old tower should probably be restored with the luarels flanking it within the crest and everton under it.

So for that reason number 1 without the motto would be my choice.

It's not the speed that's the problem. Most of the fan designs that everyone loved were designed quickly.

It's the contents & look that people are arguing, and they are the way they are because of what the fans voted for.

To be honest the way they approached the consultation was a joke, getting fans to vote on elements they liked without considering the context of how they all work together. I don't know why they just didn't take Everton and 1878 off completely and keep the main crest rather than throwing them all together.

They all look much better on the OS to be fair. Well, A and C do, second one still looks ridiculous. I think C is easily the most modern and progressive and also the most aesthetically pleasing, but I can see why people might want to be traditional and go with A.
