So much for last years badge being 'digitally' not acceptable and hard to reproduce; the first design is just a more complicated version of it.

Just doesn't make any sense, after the kick off of the this years badge a lot of people thought we good something smooth, professional and noticeable hahaha.

What we get is as much crap crammed into a small space as possible

exactly, all 3 aren't digitally acceptable imo

They probably thought that nsno and the phat tower were the real issues, and then incorporated them into a synthesis with the crass they wanted themselves, and offered us three choices along that theme.

The main challenge digitally is getting the crest to sit comfortably over any kind of background. That's a lot easier when it's all within a single border. Displaying option 1 over (e.g.) a crowd shot of Goodison would be much more straight forward and easier to read than last year's badge.

Meh not overly fussed but number one for me by a long shot. At least it looks Everton.

I think the other two are a bit fat.
Number three for me guys. Would look better with a yellow outline, though, like number 2.
I'd really like to keep that yellow colour in the crest.
Then again, keeping shield shape is important.

Absolutely gutted that after all the time and effort the club and fans have put into this those are the options we're given. 1's great but it's what we had in the first place the other two are pathetic attempts. I think the issue is with the ability of our designers.

I'm one of the few who agreed we really needed to update to a modern brand/logo. I thought after the Toytown Police Cop and the fans consultations that we'd get some cracking options. However all three are really poor. I suppose it'll be no 1, though ironically its the one most similar to the original and in that doesn't meet with the original criteria to be simple, bold and with everything within the shape. They might have well left it as was....
