2025/26 Nathan Patterson

To add some perspective to this debate: we were playing Villa, a side that couldn’t buy a win in the first part of the season. They’ve clearly been punching above their weight recently, taking advantage of a very weak league to climb the table. This weekend, though, they ran out of steam and delivered a performance much closer to the real Villa we’ve seen all season.

They barely tested either of our full-backs, which is backed up by the defensive stats from the game that someone kindly posted here.

Yet days later, people are still singing the praises of a perma-crocked player who put in, at best, a passable performance. Genuinely one of the most bizarre threads I’ve seen on a football forum.
Are you okay mate?

Absolutely convinced at this point that you are a Dave multi. HAVE to be haha.

That or you two literally share a brain

Former Everton CEO Keith Wyness is in the media today seemingly claiming Dyche's "Slapgate" wasn't a one off:

“He’s had some managers that haven’t quite believed in him totally. I know there’s been a couple of disputes apparently in training, and on different pre-season tours."

Whoever the rat on the inside is who's leaking things like this to people in the media needs rooting out, this is damaging to the club and the player.

Thank you Nathan for turning up and contributing something to the institution that pays your salary these past two seasons.
That is pathetic. When not injured has he been refusing to play? When given a game this season has he not been decent with little time on the pitch under his belt? Your comment is dismal. He deserves support from supporters. We are BETTER with Nathan Patterson.

Not hard to find out. I’ve worked it out.

Is Wyness saying he's a trouble maker?

I dont 'hate' him at all.

He's just a big soft lad who cant defend without someone standing guard over him and is a liability in attack

He's no use whatsoever to any team that want to got out and play attacking football. We'd be lacerated by the opposition on the break....as we know...because we've seen it on multiple occasions when this lad is caught out of position blowing for tugs jogging back from upfield exposing us. That's why Moyes handed him specific instructions to be in a defensive RB position at all times and then told whoever was on that side with him to make sure he wasn't isolated.

That cant be part of our future as a club if we want to climb the table and stay there.
What makes you think k we want to go out and play attacking football
That’s not Moyes style at all
