Other than the words you used I may have. Stealing a living is often used to berate players who have not been available or things have not worked out. Life is unpredictable and your comments imply a character flaw in Patterson. His displays when fit and given a place in the team say otherwise. OK.You have clearly seen that comment as sarcasm when it was anything but. There are however, players at the football club being paid a huge wage that have contributed less than him in that time period, which is what I was getting at.
