2025/26 Nathan Patterson

Well they all do and it's their choice, so this become an even more random thing to criticise him for.
It wasn't random, it was very specific. And it was an observation. God knows why you're so defensive of a millionaire footballer you've never met.

Only about stupid remarks from 🔔🔚s - I’m made up with Everton winning and the team playing well from 1-11, but you don’t seem so pleased with that whiffs.
Calm down big man, deep breaths etc.

Oh that's true, they don't - which means that Coleman, by your own standards, is not a RB then, as he and Young had to have Harrison play second right back to them in order for them to not be crapped on. And they did get crapped on when he didn't play as a second right back or if he ventured past the halfway line.

Good to know, mate, great insight.

But tell me how this doesn't apply to anyone else except Patterson here please?

Coleman even late in his career didn't ever need Harrison in front of him. He got forward just fine. Young is one of the few recent RBs who could get up the field and did. So those examples make no sense to me.

What number should he have taken then, No.9?

Someone tell Seamus he's not a right back... Doesn't have the No.2

All the talk is of him being an "actual RB". I disagree. He doesn't perform the role of a RB in any way shape or form and hasn't since he arrived. He's clueless at playing RB - caught out all the time if he's left on his own one on one with runners. And his forward play is nothing beyond bang average. We all know this.

Patterson doesn't play = is crap, worst thing ever, because he doesn't play.

Patterson plays, plays well = is crap because he posts on instagram thanking the fans.

Okay m8s.

He didn't "play well" - he just avoided making any calamities.

This player is a perfect lightening rod to highlight how much our standards have been eroded over the years. When some people are claiming THAT 94 minutes performance yesterday was 'solid' and 'decent' then you know a dumbing down process has been successful.

HK would have had that lad cleaning his car because he'd have been no use as a RB for him.

Patto must have goosed Dave’s missus. Stole his car, prevented a promotion, outbid him on eBay, beat him in a foot race for this lifelong hate mission.
Nah, there's only one reason!

It would be a travesty if he's not starting right back against Leeds.

Keane and Branthwaite out, so no genuine alternative, plus he's looked more than decent in recent victories.

If we beat Leeds it must surely be difficult to displace him from that spot. Although we know Moyes has his favourites who he's happy to accommodate and play out of position.
He`s not looked completely solid, but that can be expected when he hasn`t been playing for so long, and with him at RB and O`Brien in the centre the defence looked a lot stronger in those two wins. But as you say Moyes has his favourites, but hopefully another good result v Leeds and he can`t bring Keane straight back into the starting line up.

Why are you not so hellbent on criticising any other of our players for the most bizarrely random things and keep finding new ones, considering you've also never met him?

Sorry I want an Everton player to do well and you don't mate.

He very much did as he got ran past or was a calamity himself if there wasn't anyone to protect him, and he got forward so fine he's got no assists in years.

So he played well, ok, thanks.
