If you ask davek, he's the worst person AND footballer in existence.

If you ask anyone with eyes and a fully formed and functioning brain - nah, he's about average, but still fits the team/balance better due to being an actual right back.

I wonder who he dislikes more, Patto or Moyes?

Should he do it at literally every opportunity?

Having nothing to moan about and still moaning is a fantastic trait that everyone definitely likes.

Yeah well that is always my fear with Patterson. But I think I'm getting to the point where I'd take the hit on Patterson being at right back to keep O'Brien alongside Tarkowski. Whatever you make of Patterson, he's (1) an actual right back and (2) he's been very unlucky with injuries and (3) he's young enough to improve and lastly (4) by playing him you're giving him a chance to earn a move to a more suitable club in the summer.

People keep saying he's "an actual RB"...how? In what way?

RBs dont need to have a winger provide a shield for them all game, and RBs in this day...

Oh that's true, they don't - which means that Coleman, by your own standards, is not a RB then, as he and Young had to have Harrison play second right back to them in order for them to not be crapped on. And they did get crapped on when he didn't play as a second right back or if he ventured past the halfway line.

No but these things only count for Patterson, not for anyone else, and especially not for Coleman.

Looks like we don’t need a RB now with the Patto resurgence. I’d rather us concentrate on a LB now, which is obviously our weakest area defensively.
