I get the feeling tuchel just likes the smell of sweaty footballers. He looks the type and those Germans are into all sorts of weird stuff. He seems to be hanging round Everton changing rooms a lot looking to talk to Grealish.
Acid test for Moyes well there's 2. Matching the home performances with away ones and does he keep OBrien in at centre half?
Ndiaye and Gueye will come back in too.
That's exactly what Patterson wont want: he's 'fine' if he has a chaperone all game. Ndiaye will track back at times but he wont do that as much as say McNeill or Dibling did.
IMO Patterson steps out again for Leeds.
Yeah well that is always my fear with Patterson. But I think I'm getting to the point where I'd take the hit on Patterson being at right back to keep O'Brien alongside Tarkowski. Whatever you make of Patterson, he's (1) an actual right back and (2) he's been very unlucky with injuries and (3) he's young enough to improve and lastly (4) by playing him you're giving him a chance to earn a move to a more suitable club in the summer.
Ndiaye is one of the hardest working wingers in the league. Often to his own detriment at times. It’s why he’s usually knackered by 60 odd minutes.

It’s why he’s usually knackered by 60 odd minutes. With Ndiaye returning at RW - there's no debate to be had. We'd be far too exposed on the right because Ndiaye wouldn't be prepared to do the defensive shift that was foisted upon Dibling and McNeill in recent games - and in any case we'll be expected to come out and play a lot more at home and not sit back in a low block.
Greater defensive nous is the order of the day across the whole of the back four against Leeds. We cant have any passengers.

Have you ever heard the phrase don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good?Agree mate, he made us much better since returning and I’m thankful of the work he’s done for us after Dyche, but there are niggles and I won’t ignore them.
I’m hoping we can sneak a European place as well though, the way the league is we shouldn’t just settle for mid table.
People keep saying he's "an actual RB"...how? In what way?
RBs dont need to have a winger provide a shield for them all game, and RBs in this day and age are tasked with getting up and down the pitch.
He's nowhere near being an actual RB.
Don’t think I have tbh Kev.Have you ever heard the phrase don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good?
It just means pursuing an unachievable or unrealistic standard often results in a worse outcome than pursuing an achievable and realistic standard. I.e. sacking a proven competent manager because of certain perceived flaws in the pursuit of a better manager may end up on worse results.Don’t think I have tbh Kev.
My solution (short of a new RB): as soon as we can we have to get Garner back in that RB position. Garner has proven he's the best RB at the club as well as one of our best CMs. When we get Gueye and KDH back in tandem Garner becomes best deployed offering us a real option as a FB who can both attack an defend.I won't say "because that's his position" because I know that's not what you mean. So I'll purely keep this to what we get out of him vs O'Brien.
Pros: He can stick a better ball in, overlaps better and I think our shape in possession looks a lot better when he's playing as he naturally knows where to be.
Cons: He is very suspect for letting his man get inside if they make a run on his outside, also his awareness of his man at the far post is dodgy when a cross comes in from our left.
