I rate Besic, albeit on limited evidence in a blue shirt. For the derby I'd put him in between McCarthy and Barry in a defensive midfield three that would provide added protection for the back four. With Mirallas, Naismith and Eto'o buzzing around interchangeably in front of them we might even get something from the game.
