Think he'd be too eager to impress. And would end up getting booked or letting the occasion get to him. Where was that cool cat who marked Messi at the World Cup. I think it underscores just how intense the PL is. So want Coleman to be fit though.

Other than a few neat touches in pre season he hasn't really done anything to get ahead of Barry, McCarthy or Gibson has he? Or am I missing something? Imagine if his back heel against Chelsea had actually been in the last minute at Anfield.

Yep. If Coleman's injured id play him right back where he played at his old club sometimes. got to be better than Hibbert.

Like I said too much of a risk of getting sent off and costing us the game so not going to happen
