MOYES'S DISGUST

I still love him and hope he does well at Man U. I also hope our reaction to him gets less hostile as time goes on. One night of schadenfreude is fair enough after some of his bang on comments this year, but he's still an important part of our recent history. Probably the most important EVERTONIAN since Joe Royle left in 1997.

I'll never understand the pro-Rooney blues, but I think I'll always be a pro-Moyes blue.

I'm sorry mate, that's the problem - he never was.

He was a Moyes fan, not an Everton fan, and I'm not having a dig for the sake of it.

"I'll see where we are after Christmas before I sign a new deal" - Moyes, Nov 2012

"I'll see where we are in March before signing a new deal" - Moyes, Jan 2013

"I'll see where we are at the end of the season before signing a new deal" - Moyes, March 2013

"I only knew about the Utd job 4 weeks before I took it" - Moyes, said several times, most recently 2 days ago.

"I met David at my house at Christmas 2012 and told him 'You're my successor, you're the next Man Utd manager" - Alex Ferguson in his book.

Lies, lies, lies.

Then the ridiculous bids, the 'Everton shouldn't be holding back the careers of Fellaini & Baines' quote, the 'I know how Everton works'; 'I always told the players they didn't need a manager'; 'I signed most of the players', 'He's doing a good job carrying it on...' quotes.

Pretty much all of that, Bally.

The media fails to realise, he wasn't just booed because he left and because he made **** bids. It's his whole demeanour and the lies he told (and still tells), and the fact he left without us getting any compensation for him, from one of the richest clubs in world football.

....the 'lies lies' aspect of this summary is the deal breaker for me. The revelations in SAF book are a smoking gun to the fact that he was deceitful to all at Everton for some time.

What did he mean by 'they'll regret it"?

That sounds like a threat.

My interpretation on it (I may be a million miles away) is he thinks Everton will implode and Martinez is not as good as the Moyesiah and it will come back and bite us on the arse. I actually believe Moyes is envious of what Martinez has done already and was trying to destabilise the Club by coming in for our players just to prove that he was the great manager he thinks he is.
If Everton improve over the next few seasons then it surely makes his tenure not look as good and thats the last thing his ego will not take.

David Moyes seems rather upset he didn't get the arm around the shoulder welcome from the travelling Evertonians on Wednesday.

Seems that Moyes expects praise for all that he's done his during his 11 years, as though he was doing "Plucky Little Everton" a favor staying so long. Much credit is due for what he did, but I get the feeling that everyone has moved past this quickly, and every comment Roberto makes puts Moyes' comments in sharp perspective. Moyes continues make comments that suggest he thinks he's too good for Everton, and everyone here seems to take that the same way.
