Jermaine Beckford £4,000,000
Mikel Arteta £10,000,000
Yakubu Aiyegbeni £1,500,000
Steven Pienaar £3,000,000

Plus loan fees for Yakubu, Yobo twice.

Do you need help with this?

Yes pls. Can you help me solve this equation??

10+4+1.5+3+x+2y=22.

Here's a hint: The first four numbers add up to 18.5.... (y)

That quote about 7th/8th not being ambitious - I like that a lot. Good to see Moyes still has the drive behind them.

As usual, folks, it's all about the start. For whatever reason, we've buggered it up year after year. Get a decent start - not even an exceptional one - and we should be looking at going for the top 6.

But I've said this a million times. Being a tight arse is the worst thing BK can do. I heard that every place in the premiership is worth an extra 1 million - never mind Europe. Our debts are **** all compared to others.

Like the old adage - save a penny = loose a pound.;

As for McBail - I'm also an expat but do get back a few times a year. Everything - from the shops - ground - kit = is the worse I have seen in 40 years.

Ah well, once a blue - always a blue.

Two things:

1) Kenwright isn't the one being tight, he doesn't have the financial backing to actually invest a decent amount into the club, it's the other board members you want to look at for that.

2) Our actual debt may be smaller, but the faith which the banks have in us to pay it back isn't very high, hence us being forced to sell players last summer and spend little of the money.

Yeh, fair comment Brennan91. I'm just having a bad day. Whole Mum's side are RS and the other *****ing side is Man City. So getting a hammering from all. remember - I'm also an old fart of 46, so listening to these buggers patronising me, is worst than anything you can imagine.

For the record, I admire BK and Everton Managment as a whole, BUT and I will defend my previous comment here - save a penny = loose a pound. How many years have we all been moaning about a striker. We got one in Jan and look at the difference it has made to our results - the fans vision blah blah. This should have been done 3 / 4 years ago.

Next season - always next season - if we could make a good start or even an adequate start - we could be up there - playing in Europe - pay off the loans (whilst your comment on the banks was in the press - I for one dont believe it) - buy some new players and job done.

Waffling now - the beers kicking in.
