I'm pretty sure we can't, but people keep saying it's possible.

David Moyes believes Everton will be unfortunate not to be playing in Europe next season if they go on to cement seventh position in the Premier League.
The Blues play bottom club Wolves on Sunday and are firm favourites to maintain their current placing in the table.
Many times in the past that would have been rewarded with Europa League qualification but – as was also the case last season – it won’t be good enough this time around with only the top six likely to
And Moyes said: “Our form since January has certainly picked up and we want to finish off strongly. At the start of the year if you had said you’ll be seventh at this point then I would have probably said 'that is good'. A lot of years that would have given you a real chance of finishing in a European position but unfortunately that will not be the case this season.â€
Despite being pleased his side are in line for another strong top-half finish, Moyes insists that certainly doesn’t mean he will not be aiming higher next term.
He explained: “If you had given me that at the start of the season I might have said yes as it is close to where we have been in recent years, but I can’t be happy with finishing seventh or eighth because that is no ambition at all.
“I always say at the start of the season that I want to win the league – and I do want to win the league.
“If I can’t finish first then I will try and finish second or third or wherever it takes us. As it stands we can finish seventh so that is what we will try and do.â€

Write this down and stick it on yer fridge. Then go back and have a read in August and you will understand why I'm having an absoute mega-fume with his whingy kipper and echo moaning.
He should be saying this stuff at the outset.
Thanks for your email.
I’m sure you are already aware of how complicated the qualification process is this season, and are aware of the process as this has been discussed in great detail in various media outlets.
There are four places for Champions League qualification, which will be affected if Chelsea win the Champions League. For example as the League currently stands, if Chelsea won the CL Spurs would not qualify as the fourth spot place. The top of the League is so tight that we cannot say at this time who will qualify, as you know it all depends on the FA Cup result and also Chelsea’s performance in the Champions League final.
There are 3 places for Europa League qualification. If Chelsea win the Champions League and FA Cup this changes everything for the clubs in the potential league positions for the Europa League. This is equally complicated by Liverpool’s automatic qualification as winners of the Football League Cup. If the FA Cup winners, runners up and League Cup winners have already qualified for Europe their place goes to the next best placed clubs in the Premier League.
The Fair Play League place will enter the Europa League at the qualifying round 1 stage.
This adds to what has already been an exciting season, and we hope that you enjoy watching over the next few weeks to see who will be playing in Europe next season – all will be confirmed after the 19th May.

Thank you for contacting Everton Football Club
The additional place is to accommodate the 4th placed team (who would normally qualify for the UEFA Champions League) being displaced if Chelsea were to win the UEFA Champions League and not qualify for next season’s competition through their final Premier League position.
There is no extra place as such for any other league placing.
The FA have realised that they did not word this correctly when they circulated it and have recently amended it.
Kind regards,

We dont get an extra place.
Thats 100%, we wont be in Europe, unless City fail the fair play rules on moneys
I received two e-mails, one from the premier league and one from Everton. the premier league would lead me to believe 7th becomes a possible europa league place depending on Chelsea's success in the Champions league, the Everton one would do the opposite, depends on who you believe I suppose.

Fairly sure by the end of August everybody will be in ultra fume mode.
If the things i've been told the past couple of days about the summer are true then there's more chance of Norwich getting into Europe than us next season.
