Moyes says Europe is ON

There's a contradiction at the heart of Moyes regardless of what he says from one minute to the next. He says he has ambition (still...apparently) but accepts having to sell-to-buy year in, year out. Sorry, but an ambitious manager draws the line after a while and says "enough is enough: you want success - you get me the money to do the job properly" . He wont, though, because he's hand in glove with the board in managaing the decline (or certainly stagnation) of this football club. He's well rewarded for doing that so it's no real suprise he carries that task out.

"We can finish 10th/9th/8th/7th/6th...". That's just noise. I barely care what this glove puppet says anymore. It's just a joke hearing the word 'ambition' from him...he's taking the piss like the rest of the management of that club. I used to admire him, now he's just another problem that needs dealing with.

The saddest thing is to think we are regressing. People like yourself and Davek speculate so wildly it affects your judgement big time. Everything is a conspiracy theory. Be real supporters and tow the party line. You can't just go against everything anyone says every time they open their mouths, when they are in a much better position than we are to make a call.

If Moyes is burning with ambition then, unless he really thinks he's going to get more resources with us, why isn't he applying for managers posts at clubs with the resources to be in the Champions League on a regular basis ? ( Those clubs don't have to be British btw ) Maybe he doesn't really believe in his own ability ?

Unlike Dave, I don't doubt Moyes passion for Everton and his desire to do well here, but 10 years is a long time in a job, especially if you have the ambition to be seen as truly successful and the confidence in your own ability to deliver that success.

He was saying that he agrees with Davek about his questioning of Moyes' ambition, not his love for the club. You don't have to wholly agree with somebody's point of view, the world is not black and white.
