Our fans will hound out anyone who steps foot into our dugout, players includedOur fans would hound Glasner out within 9 months. He has one rigid way of playing and a set formation, a bit like Amorim, he’s a system manager.
He had a good squad at palace. He walked into a good one. Very different scenario. If he had that sort of quality here he'd hear about it on a 10 game no win run.
The flip side to that is he did improve them as a team. So patience is probably the answer there.
Usually glasner plays with one striker despite a back three , does a 3 4 2 1
Not so sure really, did quite well as a young manager, but was a huge failure at Blackburn, still considered a big-ish club at the time, 3 yrs on from the title. Liverpool he was a disaster and at inter Milan. And was a terrible England manager imo. If palace just wanted to survive then fine keep Hodgson, but they wanted more and while it’s now ending in tears they got into Europe and won the fa cup, which Hodgson would have never achieved. And they now have a bit more about them to attract another quality managerVery similar. He came in and kept palace up if i remember correctly.

I’d expect every manager to do that, apart from our current one. He’d also throw his toys out of the pram when we sell our best players and replace them with inferior ones.
By that metric, Moyes did terrible at united and in spain and went down with Sunderland and has never tried international management. Not so sure really, did quite well as a young manager, but was a huge failure at Blackburn, still considered a big-ish club at the time, 3 yrs on from the title. Yes I’m not a fan of Moyes and want him gone in the summer,By that metric, Moyes did terrible at united and in spain and went down with Sunderland and has never tried international management.
Moyes might be a slight bit better than hodgson overall but not much.
All this 'stability' crap wrecks my head.
Football revolves around a decent manager, kinda like NFL revolves around a decent QB.
Moyes is fine and if you're happy with 'fine', good for you.
I'm sick of Everton not being good.
Yep. We (Finland) were one goal shy of going to Euro2008's under him. Bunker Roy we called him. When he took over Fulham I was 100% sure he'd keep them up. And he did. A good manager and a decent bloke (if one doesn't mind the obvious thing...).Very similar. He came in and kept palace up if i remember correctly.

His 10 match run without a win has plenty of mitigating circumstances and has come the season after winning an FA Cup.
If he won us an FA Cup, and then we sold half our squad - Im not sure our fans would be particularly on his case.
He's won the europa league too and has a pedigree Lampard an Dyche didn't have - and fans tolerated their winless runs.
Just like the home form then 7 wins in 25
