Yep. We (Finland) were one goal shy of going to Euro2008's under him. Bunker Roy we called him. When he took over Fulham I was 100% sure he'd keep them up. And he did. A good manager and a decent bloke (if one doesn't mind the obvious thing...).

I do think there is a bit of snobbery about roy hodgson. I was the first to join in when he was at liverpool lol.
But he's probably forgot more about coaching and managing than any of us will ever even know about it.

The difference between these two was Bobby went all out for a trophy which raised his profile as a manager, and ended up relegated, Glasner won a cup, got them solid in the PL at the same time, and is frustrated he can`t keep his best players as he wants to be more successful.

Selling his best players, he wound have walked in the summer had they sold Guehi
well we have a new board so I’m not sure we know exactly what they will doing and what they’re like.

Moyes has had a 3 game winless run with all our best players missing and there are calls for him to go.

We need to improve the squad a lot further before any manager has a chance of winning a trophy here.

Our fans would hound Glasner out within 9 months. He has one rigid way of playing and a set formation, a bit like Amorim, he’s a system manager.
