Moyes or Glasner?

Who would you prefer as Everton manager this month?

Moyes has had a 3 game winless run with all our best players missing and there are calls for him to go.

We need to improve the squad a lot further before any manager has a chance of winning a trophy here.

This.

Need to stop looking for a silver bullet manager and just actually invest in the squad to the point where a number of managers could come in and still be successful.

Palace got lucky right time right moment just like Everton did in 95
I respect the manager though for calling out the owner for selling players and not reinvesting
Something Moyes would never do to that extent
Palace sell their best players at their peak and buy younger prospects to develop. Glasner knew this before he joined Palace. We have done just that while he has been here.To say we have not reinvested is wrong.

Yes which we would have known because he was bad in this league at Southampton.

But Glasner has been really good with Palace so it’s actually a terrible comparison.
Crystal Palace have a system that works for them. Their league positions have been consistently similer from the season they got promoted. The lowest they've finished in that time is 15th and the highest 10th. They finished 10th under Glasner when he took over mid-season in 23-24. Last season they finished 12th and they currently sit 13th. I take nothing away from their cup win. Its hella impressive but lets not rewrite history. Koeman finished 7th and then 6th at Southampton so he obviously wasn't that bad there was he?

I know you know I was joking about seeing Franks on Regent Road, but on a more serious point, wot about Herr Slit? He should be available soon from our dear neighbour's cesspit at Analfield.

Well, no.

Glasner's results have been fine, but he's left burned bridges most of the places he's gone. And while I can understand his frustration, his behavior this week is incredibly poor.

That’s it really.

A lot of people praise certain managers and talk about how they don’t spend much and over perform.

However, transfer fees don’t really tell the full story. I saw a statistic a few months ago that showed wage bill figures versus where clubs finished in the table and it was nearly identical.

To me it showed that managers are less important than they used to be and the best players will go where pays them the most each week. Our commercial income simply needs to allow us to start getting closer to the top 4/6 and if it does, our wage bill needs to go up to match them if we want to be competing and not just a middle ground team

Take Eddie Howe off of your lists lads, he just failed to beat Wolves which is completely unacceptable for any Everton manager.

Think about all of the hipster managers we could have had that have been to other clubs and completely sunk. I'll start with Graeme Potter and Thomas Frank. Would anyone like any them now?
