Getting pretty sick of "we'll see were we finish and that will determine whether i stay or go". What difference does it make ? Does he think he's too good to be at Everton if we fail to reach Europe ? Maybe we'll fail to reach Europe because of you Moyes. He's become too big for his own boots, needs to realise he's only an average manager and the club and fans deserve more than his bullsh!t answers.

We don't know the club hasn't had their answer. Perfectly plausible that he will leave but the board and Moyes believed that uncertainty over his future was better than the certainty that he is leaving. They may be wrong on that of course but it's a reasonable enough idea.

A lot of the unknowns in this situation might not have anything to do with Moyes.

"Sign the contract Moyes FFS!" ... what if he has given the board a contract? Same money for him w. guarantee of 5-10m net spend p/year for five years and the board won't sign that?

We have no idea what is going on. I know it's frustrating but it doesn't mean it's all Moyes' fault (unless all of a sudden we don't want him to stand up to the board and demand more funds like we've specifically encouraged him to do for the last ten years?).

Not saying any of that is the case but my speculation is just as educated as yours (i.e. not at all).

He doesn't get that 18 years without a trophy is like walking round with a hair-shirt and that him saying stuff like 'Evertion were nothing in the PL before I came' (or words to that effect) just makes things more irritating

In other words, he hasn't got a clue about Everton - and he's not arsed either, because it's always been about Moyes and what's best for Moyes' image to the wider world.

This.

He just doesn't get it, at all. And definitely, definitely thinks he's bigger than the club. Those quotes say it all.

Hang on a minute mate.

Are you seriously implying that more goes on behind goes doors than what is released through the press and available to the public ?

You've got some cheek tbh, coming in here with your sensible ideas and reasoned arguments.

I suspect you're barking up the right tree here, so to speak.

Maybe Evertonians would be more sympathetic if they hadn't spent the last eleven years listening to Moyes endorse the same board which consistently stifles the club's development.

He's turned into a ********. He'll realise how big Everton are when he takes over at Sunderland or QPR.

Moyes gets told he's the greatest thing since sliced bread from those that matter -Kenwright, the national media and Alex Ferguson. The minions following the club are a necessary evil the way he talks but having had much worse results than Wigan he probably thinks "why the fuss - wannkers"

Are you defending the 12.7% decline in controlled revenue( From 2007 ), because we got more money from Sky??

It's like this.

If you get half a domino's pizza, pepperoni passion. Small. and thats your controlled revenue. ok?

Then another half of a small ham and pineapple pizza.

You get 100%. Your controlled revenue being 50% i.e. a half a small pepperoni passion.

If the Ham and pineapple pizza is suddenly half a large one (i.e. revenue outside your control increases),

well, that's a lot of pineapple.

Ok, so your half a small tasty pepperoni passion, isn't equal to the large half a hawaiin. so.

Maybe its like I dunno 33% and the half of the pineapple and ham is like 66%. So

you now have 33% pepperoni passion and 66% ham and pineapple.

But in actual fact, you've still got a half a small pepperoni passion.

Half of a small Pepperoni Passion.

I rest my case.

You can't use percentages.

Has our controlled revenue gone up in "£'s"? since 2007?????

f*** percentages,

I want to know if I've got a half a medium pepperoni passion now goddammit.

I'm bored of these almost cryptic messages from Moyes, you lost 0-3 at home, just say how it is? It's not hard.

Basic management, again.

If he has told them hes going Im not sure they've told anyone else nor made any attempts to find a replacement (other than perhaps casually ) which would be a bit strange.

I accept he is gone to be honest, the "hanging on to see how we do" fair enough, enough players do it, but I won't lose sleep over it, I just hope we are putting plans together for a replacement.

14th, mate.

So we've got the 14th highest net-spend on transfer fees and player/coach wages in the period from 2002-2012?

Ok, I will say it's justified to state we're doing very well and better than projected in terms of consistent league positions under David Moyes.

I still stand by my opinion that repeating this ad nauseum ensures a lack of superiority-complex in the players which in turn translates itself out onto the pitch when the opposition is well up for it (i.e. during important cup games).

Good management is many things, Moyes has a lot covered, but not all.

Again shows that despite being a decent fella he's never really understood Evertonians and he underestimates our intelligence.
