Came across very well there, explained our summer dealings, told us we are debt free, promised us a boss stadium and mentioned the word compete enough times to get me hard.

Well done Mosh.
I've got some land in Alaska for sale. Would you like to start the bidding?

The core of the interview was his hammering home that only when the club is generating substantial commercial revenue will the squad be strengthened.

It was a shot across the bow before January.

Its a good job the club has the 47m Stones money then isnt it Dave, so that leaves us with 54m to spend on wages.

Did you even listen?

Dave that's nothing new I have written about it for the last 9 months - we need increased revenue to meet our STCC obligations, not because of a lack of capital.

In the absence of increased revenues we will need annually to create player profits.

Hence my comments earlier about Elstone.

there's many reasons why phrases like talk is cheap and actions speak louder than words are so well-known...

did he say watch this space again?

The fact that he mentions our poor commercial performance speaks volumes IMO

One of the most pleasing things to hear him say as well. It's glaringly obvious that the commercial side of things need improving, but all you ever get from Elstone is that Chang, kitbag, and Umbro are all great business for the club. It's refreshing to hear someone inside the club acknowledge that it's not good enough.

So if we sell cleverly for 6 million we are quids in basically?

DO IT MOSH SELL THE ABSOLUTE FRAUD

Good to hear him say things like we got 4 players who we wanted, then named the 3 we didnt get, instead of not naming them etc,no wonder we didnt get that defender when they wanted 60 mil,as honest as you can get

agreed, although i think he said we actually made that £60m bid as well. i wouldn't want us spending that much on a defender tbh so not overly peeved it didn't come to fruition. There are plenty of good CB's out there. £60m for a top class playmaker or striker and yes, but centre back, hmm.
