2025/26 Michael Vincent Keane

He put his head against Gueyes. His term at the club it’s been littered with absolutely ridiculous scenarios.

He’s been better this season still the sooner we rid ourselves of these losers the better. The amount of games this man has cost us over the years with individual errors must be record breaking
He didn't cost us the game today though
He scored our only goal

What a bunch of pony you lot are. Why not stand with your own? Instead youd all prefer to chuck one of our players under the bus, get a. Spine you lot. He was clearly just grabbing at anything when he jumped. Better to say no long hair in football, now they will all be growing their hair long to get people sent off. He dint pull him back and hardly impeded him. The fact he got sent off just goes to show where the game has gone, and the fact most of you seem happy about it just shows me how our own supporters have gone too. Very disappointing. Keane been great this season and got cheated.

Agree. Joke of a sport that it’s considered “violent conduct”.

I’m not a Michael Keane fan though I will say he’s done a bit better than I thought at the start of the season when we all realised he was going to play loads because Branthwaite was injured long term.

Regardless of not being a fan and acknowledging this guy is very capable of massive brain farts that decision last night was a disgrace, whatever the letter of the law is and is another example of people who never played the game making up nonsense laws.

Every time you jump for a ball you naturally cling on to the opposition on the way back down, normally it’s a shoulder, bit of shirt etc. and these are never given as fouls even though shirt pulling is also a foul. Keane has not pulled the guys hair with any force or caused the player any physical pain he’s just had a hold on his way back down. Nobody had a problem with this situation but some clown who can zoom in slow motion decided to ruin what could’ve been a decent final 20 mins with both teams going for a winner and tried and hand it on a plate to wolves.

Every time I watch football in other countries they have none of these issues with VAR over-analysing everything and international tournaments right back to Russia have also been fantastically refereed. What is wrong with the premier league?

I actually disagree about your views of VAR in European and International competitions as many a game I've watched in those competitions have been ruined by their interpretations of hand ball and giving penalties and sending offs for minimal contact incidents

Regardless of our interpretation of the law. I'd be more embarrassed about unprofessionalism my self. Clearly went for the hair you could see it. Is he in the playground. You don't jump for the ball and ring a church bell on the way down. What a brain fart. Red was harsh deffo yellow but shouldn't have put himself in that situation.

I feel really sorry for him. He's been five times the player of captain Tarkowski this season, and it's not Keane's fault that Tarkowski looks like he's never kicked a football in his life when he's next to Keane. He's our biggest threat in front of goal and was somehow targeted by the VAR last night when the incident, if you can even call it that, was long gone and nobody had seen noticed anything. It was a yellow card offence at most, and probably not even that. To be suspended for three games for violent conduct is just utterly ridiculous - Keane hasn't got a violent bone in his body.

Tarks was fantastic alongside O'Brien, Keane ruins that partnership
