Places like that fill my heart with joy ,I have always loved the countryside , the older I get the happier it makes me feel .Great photoHi all, been out with the dachshund this morning as we are dog sitting today. Not a bad spot to sit and mull over the meaning of life, the universe and everything.

I gave up on the Echo website years ago. It’s completely unusable with pop ups everywhere and pages crashing all the time. On here is definitely the best spot for news on all things blue.Upon being fed up with the red Echo I decided to peruse the UK press for a new goto and found this cracker -The Express -

It’s a real lull now with the momentum for Europe suffering a setback. The table still gives us every chance but City falling into form now doesn’t fill me with confidence.Good morning all on this beautiful day here .I hope all are well and had a restful slumber . Not much going on here so a little later perhaps .Have a great day all COYB
Morning all, complete change in the weather, dull chilly and cold. We’re off to town to sort out something which was supposed to make things easier and hasn’t… more later.
Hoping that the Sunderland game is announced as confirmed for the Sunday.
Have a good day, all.![]()
Thanks might give it a go. I used to love Beckett’s, especially sitting outside on a sunny day, not much chance of that this morning. The cathedral has a new cafe btw (Cath), looks pretty popular too. Not had a chance to go yet
Well done on all of that but mostly with the weight loss .Good morning all. After a lovely warm day yesterday, it's back to cold and dull. I was inspired by the weather yesterday to get out in the garden and also sort our garage out. So, after the gym, I made two trips to the tip- unwanted junk from the garage as well as a random selection of broken bricks that the previous owners left. Then I bought some new plants and compost and planted up some tubs. Our Home Bargains has a garden centre - very reasonable prices on plants and compost. I also bought a bird feeder and finally took the winter covers off the garden furniture. It felt like summer after I did all that!
Off to the gym again soon. I really want to.lose a few more lbs before the wedding I'm going to in August but more importantly to do it in the next month or so before I buy something to wear. No targets but currently I'm 1.8lbs away from being in the next stone bracket - which always sounds better.
Have a good day everyone x
