Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all on this fine day ,I hope all had a splendid night's rest and awake to a fantastic day . I am still numb after last week ,I believe that Europe is far beyond us ,I am almost uninterested for the last few games ,I expect us to be turned ower on Saturday . Other than that my life is quite rosey in a run of the mill sort of way . My eldset told me yesterday that he and his wife have agreed to divorce after 4/5 years apart ! In this day and age that is a long time to make the decision I would think .Now I have the grandkids situation to help him sort ,it will be hard as the wife is already laying down times for calls ,as she every right to do but it doesn't auger too well .

Hope you are able to sort the situation regarding your son and grandkids, trying to balance everything can be tricky.

They have scheduled me in for a hip replacement May 29th, and it’s part of our healt system, so no out of expenses which is a bit of a result

If your son is content with the arrangements now, and they are well established, hopefully sense prevails and an amicable solution is reached for all.

As regards the football, I fancy us for a draw at worst. West Ham while industrious are a bit toothless.

I feel that there is no contentment to be had in divorce ,sadly it is the kids affected mostly , they know no better in my view ,all this is part of growing up for them but we know better . I hope you are correct football wise . We will know on Saturday night .
 
Divorce when there is a child involved can be very messy. A friend of mine has a daughter in the same situation and it is causing issues for all the grandparents. It seems to me that all you can do is provide support without overtly ‘taking sides’ and let the lawyers and the judge sort it. Either way it resolves brings pain to all involved. It’s a terrible shame for the child I’m sad to say. Just bring your normal good advice and support to your lad and help to make it easier for him…."

A couple may go their separate ways for many reasons but you would hope the one thing they retain in common is to do whatever is best for the child they brought into the world. Sadly though, there is a reason why there are family courts.

You would hope so. Unfortunately for my friends daughter the opposite is the case. But all couples are different. Anyway I hope it all works out Blue……
