Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

.morning!!. I've had another poor night's sleep 😴. I keep waking around 1.30 and it takes me about 3 hours to drop back off then I might manage another hour or two if I'm lucky. I had this problem last year and ended up getting those sleep patches. Looks like I will have to purchase some more. Anyway , hope you all managed a good night's sleep.

Sounds just like my sleep pattern…..

Yes mostly, you can just about hear the railway in the distance but the RAF decided to start manoeuvres overhead just before we left, which shattered the peace somewhat.
Somewhat destroyed the tranquility that. Although, I do enjoy watching planes in the summer and looking up where they are going to on an App. It’s always surreal to have a fleeting connection with people so far above your head, doubtless oblivious to my beady eyes though.

It did a bit. Sometimes they fly quite frequently, then you can go weeks without hearing any. Some days it’s that loud our doors rattle. They need to practice though I suppose. I love that Flight radar app too, being able to know the destinations of the aircraft after years of just wondering where there are going.

I’m another Flight Radar fan, when we played Brentford there were three of us looking at it as we go to a pub on the bank of the Thames and it’s on the Heathrow flight path.

Our house used to vibrate with helicopters passing over and I certainly do not miss that. At times you could actually make eye contact with the passengers.

We’re on the Liverpool to Ireland flight path at the top of the Wirral and I’ve spotted Tranmere’s ground in the past, but I always book an aisle seat now so I don’t see much !.
Great view of Bramley Moore from up there but of course need the window seat. There is a lot to be said for the aisle seat I think, marginally more leg room for starters.

Happy birthday @peteblue , all the best.
