Thanks for all the good wishes everyone.

Happy birthday bro.Bloody hell Duc. Not been in the thread for a few weeks so behind on the news. Hope you get sorted mate.
Happy birthday Fred
In the hospital I’ve been really short of breath lately, came to Emergency had a cat scan they found 2 big blood clots on my lungs, on blood thinners going to be in for a few days, as I have to be in a hospital bed for 48 hours no getting up
But I’m in the right place
Probably from the surgery and UK flights
Have fun. That's awesome xMorning all,
Off to Hannah’s school later. She and three friends are performing a song in the Valentine show. I wanna be yours by the Arctic Monkeys, nothing like the songs performed at my school concerts which consisted of opera and folk songs - The Swinging Sixties never quite reached the County Grammar
Hope all goes well @peteblue, will think of you. Hope you thaw out soon @blueloon, that is some dedication to the cause.
Have a good day, all.![]()
Good luck with the clots ,for once do as you are told .Stay strong that man.Happy birthday Fred

Pete there is nothing I can say but good luck ,it looks like they are on top of it , the persitent visits to doctors / hospitals can get you down .My outlook is that without said visits we wouldn't be posting on here . Stay strong mate and post when you can ,love to Kay from us all .Had the camera down the throat and stomach, horrible experience. It appears I’ve got ulcers in the stomach and a problem with the veins in my throat. I’ve been given medication that should clear up the ulcers and they want me to do it all again in 8 weeks to check they are sorted and have the throat issue looked at and diagnosed at a more specialist hospital. The doctor said it can all be sorted out, so no immediate panic. It’s like an episode of Emergency Ward 10 in here at the moment. Keep well everyone…….
There is a total eclipse on the 3rd that is visible in Oz ,hope you get to see itGood morning all. (It's morning here) Happy birthday @Barnfred 55 I hope you have had a lovely day. Get well soon @Ducans elbow .
We are currently in Margaret River - the Australian wine region. We're having a few days away with my brother and sister in law. It is beautiful. We're staying on a cattle breeding farm that has two tourist lodges. Last night we sat out and just looked at the stars. It was so dark you could see the Milky Way. The day before, we had a trip to Fremantle. That was much older than anywhere we had seen.
I've also seen my first wild kangaroo
Rest up and get well soon.Happy birthday Fred

Oh Pete, you certainly don’t have your troubles to seek. As always sending my very best wishes to you and your Kay.Had the camera down the throat and stomach, horrible experience. Sounds as though you are having the best time. Have to admit I’m slightly envious of your seeing the Milky Way. I can’t ever recall seeing it even before the days of light pollution although I do remember how bright the stars seemed in the blackouts during the miner’s strikes in the seventies.Good morning all.
