Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all on this Finnish midsummer celebration .Up in the high 20's and not a sign of water means a lot of beer might be drunk today .
There is a sort of lottery in Finland on this day as people guess how many will die from excess booze ,a few usually fall out of their boat and drown .It reminds me of my childhood on Bonfire night .
They say people never learn!
Have a great day all and I hope all feel better than yesterday .
On the old people not being sent to the intensive care ,I agree it is terrible if it is what it seems but I don't know all the facts e.g. Are they given the choice ? A kind of euthanasia situation ,I don't know .COYB.

Morning all you lovely people ,

Well Mrs J off to get her hair done today ( the long appointment where she comes back with her hair a different colour before magically in a weeks time it reverts to normal ) so I'm in charge.

Racing to get the housework done so I can sit and watch or listen to the cricket.

Started off glorious weather but now clouded over , humid and sultry and looking like rain. So big questions

1. Do I put the sheets out

2. Will it stay dry and I do some weeding later or if it rains watch the test match.

Decisions , decisions - a man's work is never done lol .

Anyway tonight's sorted watching Glastonbury and me and Mrs J moaning about how we haven't got a clue who the artists are - until Macca and Diana Ross come on later in the weekend!

Have a lovely day y'all.

Morning all, cloudy here this morning. Enjoy the celebrations @blue1948 sounds as though the weather will be good for you. Booze and boats not a good combination though. @anjelikaferrett we never stop worrying about our kids, only natural, but from what you have said about Charlotte it sounds as though she may be the ideal candidate for the job. Wishing her all the best.?. Hope you get the washing dry @jazzy - that housework won’t do itself- or so Mr G. tells me, my reply “he retired from employment - I retired from housework “ lol Have a great day, all.

Morning all. I come with a plant based query that I know one of you Green fingered geniuses will know.

I have this rose plant growing out the front

At the base of its stump there is a new offshoot branch that is actually as big as the main plant itself (if it could support itself). However, it is flowering as this:

What is happening here Mascoteers?

The white flower looks like a clematis AT , but I will ask the font of gardening knowledge that is Mrs J ( out getting her hair done ) to advise definitively )
