Falmouth is a beautiful and interesting town and whilst busy it is not overrun with tourists , at least not like St Ives!How would it feel if you didn't need to travel back home Fred? Do you think you could take the tourists 24/7 ?

I meant if you went to live in a flat in the town and not needing to travel back "home" .
Sadly the very old appear to be increasingly ignored these days. I fully agree with Jazzy's comment earlier. Those old people have done their bit in their younger days, worked hard, raised children. They deserve to be treated with dignity and not as a drain on resources. Makes me very sad.

Everywhere gets a bit mad in the school summer holidays but Penryn/Falmouth isn't as bad as elsewhere. Plus it's buzzy out of season too as the University is there.

Not rained here at all despite the forecast. Weather was still lively when I came out of the cinema. Enjoyed the film. The dinosaurs are so realistic.

Waiting to get a mammogram and ultrasound done, not looking forward to my breast getting flattened like a pancake but one must do whatever is necessary to reduce the risk of breast cancer even if it is very uncomfortable. Today is another hot day the temperature is already 27 and it probably get a few degrees hotter before the end of the day. On days like this I really wish I live by the ocean, seeing all the pics that Fred has been posting of a blue sea is making me want to be there but summer is a super busy time for recruitment so I probably won’t be going on a holiday until September when my younger brother comes to town from Belgium then the whole family is planning a trip to the beach. On other news, I have not been surprised but amazed how much Trump had to do with the riot on January 6 and if after robbing $250 million from his donors he is not send to jail then the US will confirm to be a country where the rich can get away with anything. In about an hour another hearing is to began and it seems every time there are more revelations so looking forward to today’s hearing. Jeez I've just written a massive post and inadvertently deleted it. FFS! Short version. Very hot, now cloudy. Daughter may have a new job as a prison officer in a Young Offenders prison. She's over the moon, her Dad and I are not too sure. Son on his way home for the weekend. Thinking about a barbie and an afternoon in the local pub's beer garden over the weekend.

I've just had a letter telling me to make an appointment for one. Being a good girl I have made said appointment. My Mum and auntie both had breast cancer so anything proactive is good.
