Morning all. Happy Father’s Day to all mascoteer Dads. In the long hot summer of 1976 the 19th of June was the last day it rained for 10 weeks. I know this because it was our wedding day. Nothing special planned but we will walk down the path of the church where we married, something we have done for the last 46 years. Don’t need to go far - it’s only round the corner. lol Have a lovely day all.?

Cal and I had a joint leaving do when we left the Bank. We used the album cover of Band on the run (escaped convicts) on our invitations with Cal"s and my faces airbrushed in. Before you ask my niece did it.?

Kate Bush no 1. Amazing. I actually like Stranger Things and wasn't surprised when Kate Bush was on. The series soundtrack is full of 80s British music.

Thank you. Just the walk down the church path. We don’t swap cards or presents don’t do Christmas or Birthdays either, goes back to the days when we didn’t have much money so spent what we had on the kids. Mr G. always used to promise to buy me “something in the sales”. He never did and still says it, it’s become a standing joke over the years.

We don't do the card and gift thing either perhaps on my side for the same reason .It is so romantic that you both want to do that walk ,this time there will be a few mascoteers with you and I will be one of them .We are of the " if you need it and have the money then get it now brigade "or save for it .The wife has never had kids so doesn't really know what it is like to be really short and need to clothe and feed the kids ,not her fault but she just never met the right guy she says .??

I would make "them " do your garden as it seems they are well capable , you meanwhile could partake in a G&T .

We never used to waste money on cards and gifts either. We just went on a cruise instead?

Can I just add that we never had kids so we could afford it.
