Those banners and pics are amazing. You need to come to the Durham Miners Gala. Loads of the old colliery banners on display and marched through Durham accompanied by brass bands. It is a great day out. Usually have some good speakers. Heard the late great Bob Crowe (RMT General Secretary) speak a few times. Looking forward to this year - first year back post lockdown.

Good evening everybody. Love the cat pic @blue1948 Love the way the front paws are tucked under the strap lol . Today was another Sweaty Saturday session. I discovered the joys of burpees. Never heard of them before. I managed one! We then had one of our usual PT sessions so I am absolutely worn out! By 9.15 am I had spent an hour and a half in the gym and done an hour of overtime. I definitely prefer going to the gym at the start of the day instead of the end. Finished overtime, had a couple of beers while watching Royal Ascot (I won £15 on Tuesday Fred and that was it. Lost everyday since. (My £1 ew bets are not going to cause financial ruin though) I've got 13p left in my Skybet account!

It's been warm today - we haven't had any rain but very overcast. No news from the neighbour but the police were at her house again today.

Think he is hoping to take it. One of the organisers of the DMG helped him with advice on materials etc.

Just enjoying some McCartney on Beeb2. He's 80 today. How do you feel about sharing a birthday with him T?

When he was young he actually lived in the same road I grew up in. His mum was the local midwife in the days babies were still being born at home.
I taping that for later. Blossoms on Sky Arts is my viewing pleasure.

I played Hounds of Love as homage to Kate getting to no 1. Mrs J liked that. Then Band on the Run ,to celebrate Maccas birthday Mrs J , remember she's a scouser from Huyton , "what are you playing that for , he could never sing"

Oh.My.God.

Forgot that was on. Started recording but it's probably nearly finished. Deffo recording Muse tomorrow.cheers for that. Their concert from Rome is probably my favourite on YouTube, deffo in the top 3. Stereophonics live us on after McCartney. Are you a fan? He has a cracking voice.
I love McCartney but not the biggest fan of the Stereophonics after they refused to support the Manics at a gig in Wales. They got way above their station.

Have seen them maybe 4/5 times at festivals and Dakota is an absolute belter of a song.

You need to introduce her to T.?

Cal and I had a joint leaving do when we left the Bank. We used the album cover of Band on the run (escaped convicts) on our invitations with Cal"s and my faces airbrushed in. Before you ask my niece did it.?

Kate Bush no 1. Amazing. I actually like Stranger Things and wasn't surprised when Kate Bush was on. The series soundtrack is full of 80s British music.
