Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

You did fantastic Anj. Let's face it. Circuit training is not for people our age.

When I was still playing amateur football in my 20s, we used to do circuit training 1 week in 4, and I used to dread it, with good reason. Hats off to you.
Thank you. I'm walking like an 85 year old who has pooed her pants at the moment. My legs are so stif!! ? ?

Had a conversation this morning that I've been half expecting but not really looking forward to. Not as bad as it could have been but I'll explain all later when I've got time.

Anyway in need of a bit of cheering up so I'm sitting out in the sun and have just made myself a very nice Mojito. I do make a nice cocktail (by that I mean strong) even if I do say so myself.

Hope you all have a good Saturday peeps. Or should that be poops given the previous topic of conversation.

Well whatever it was that conversation is over and behind you now.

I can’t drink cocktails. Well I can but it doesn’t end well.

Busy day today but now chilling with the football on and an Indian ordered. With the wonders of Sky Q I shall be binging on 3 games back to back.

Good result for Ireland tonight. Needed it.

Little anecdote. Coming back from an Everton game I bumped into an Irish youth side (club not international) who had been to the game. The manager explained that one of their lads had signed for Everton that very weekend and the team had come over with him. I told my other half this after and she asked if I had got him to sign my match programme? I laughed saying I wouldn’t ask a 16 year old boy who may never make it to do that!!

It was Shane Duffy. Now Captain of my country.

Didn't he nearly die after a freak injury - ruptured his liver or something. I'm really pleased Ireland won tonight. As far as international football goes, I'm always more invested in Ireland's performances than England's.

International football leaves me cold to be honest. I have no interest in it whatsoever.

Anyway Rufford beat Carnforth in a top of the table cricket match and go top ! With two 15 yr olds in the first XI get in !
