Yep it's looking like we've signed a centre half. Seems a bit of a grock which is exactly what our cowardly defence needs.
Received Moshiris letter with apologies for last season but apart from the stadium no indication how he is going to improve things.
I fear that we will see at least 1 if not 2 of Richarlison, DCL and Pickford leave to raise funds for a team rebuild.
Think Mina , Gomes and Allan might be offski too.
So Mrs J off to charity shop this am so I'm on dog duty before I go to the gym and then do some gardening.
Had to laugh yesterday, although actually it's sad and pathetic at the golfers attempts to justify playing on the Saudi.tour ended in embarrassing silence. These guys are ludicrously rich already and to suggest that they are trying to popularise the game is just an insult to people's intelligence. Be honest and say the obscene amount of money on offer was too good to turn down.

I was just about to post about the gollfers. Multi millionaire golfers plead poverty and need more money. I've never been a huge golf fan but watch the big competitions. Rory McIlroy is my new favourite golfer just because of his stance on this. Phil Mickleson comes across as an odious specimen of humanity. I loved the question yesterday when Westwood and Poulter were asked would you play for Putin. They had no answer. I often wonder, and frequently did on a smaller scale as a union rep when dealing with horrible bully managers, at which point up the greasy pole do you sell your soul?

Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. There are some lovely walks in the surrounding area. The eastern side of the city is not so scenic, it lies on the edge of an area called the Fens which is very flat and mostly below sea level, it does have huge skies though , which can be very dramatic.

Good morning all. It's my free day off today. Civil.Servants get an extra Bank Holiday for the Queen's birthday. To be taken in June. The Tory Govt hate this and have for many years tried to take it off us. However it was a 'gift from the Sovereign' therefore they can't. So up yours Conservatives! I won't be wasting my day. Going to clean the windows (had to sack my window cleaner. Very awkward conversation last year and he hasn't been seen since. Although with hindsight I probably should have reported him to the police as well). Then I'm going to buy some compost and repot a few things. Our veggies are growing quite nicely. Just me and Mr F in tonight. I think a curry might be on the menu. Speaking of cooking, I did a roast last Sunday and decided to make rice pudding as well. Oh. My. Goodness. Overcooked it totally. You couldhave used it as quick drying cement. Not my finest culinary hour!

Just hypocrisy. Rather they just came out and said the money was too good to turn down.

Hopefully all the travel chaos will be sorted by then and going with Jet2 who haven't cancelled any flights yet.

I fear all our saleable players going, there's no loyalty in football nowadays and tbh if they don't have an emotional attachment to the club like us who would blame them after last season.
Hopefully it will have calmed down by then. I read that Jet2 have their own staff so don't rely on airport staff to do whatever they do which is why they haven't cancelled anything. When we go on our cruise in October there are 3 stops in Italy. Very much looking forward to those. I've never been to Italy before.
I shall tell you about the window cleaner. When we moved in he knocked and asked if we needed a window cleaner. We said yes. Pre Covid he used to clean the windows and once a month or so he would put a note through the door and say I've done the windows, you owe me £x. I would then bank transfer the money. Because we were all out I had no reason to doubt what he said. Anyway Covid arrives. Two of us, then three of us working from home. One furloughed. Window cleaner rocks up about every four weeks and always says we owe him for two lots of window cleaning. I was suspicious then because I thought, how have none of us seen him. We also still had the sheep who were better than guard dogs for letting you know somebody was around.
I decided to let it go because, probably being stupid, I thought, there's a pandemic on, he could be really skint, I knew he had young children and I had no real evidence. So I would transfer him what he asked for.
Last August he turned up, cleaned the windows and said it was the third time he had done them. I was just on my way out so I said I would transfer the money to him later. I forgot. Got a message from him asking for the money. So I replied saying I would pay for the day I saw him but not the others until he provided dates as I couldn't understand how, with 3 of us working from home we kept missing him. He rang me with a totally fabricated story about how 'the lad who helped him" ( there was never any lad) had been ticking the book to say the windows had been done when they hadn't. He was very sorry, he would bring 'the lad' round to apologise and he would do the windows for free next time. Never been seen since.
The reason I now feel I should have involved the police was that if he was scamming me, he was probably doing it to other people as well - and maybe still is.
There's rumours of Richy, DCL, Pickford and Mina going. That's a big hole to fill. However I've also read that Uncle Harry Redknapp has told nephew Frank to try and get Christian Bale on a short term contract.
