Yep it's looking like we've signed a centre half. Seems a bit of a grock which is exactly what our cowardly defence needs.

Received Moshiris letter with apologies for last season but apart from the stadium no indication how he is going to improve things.

I fear that we will see at least 1 if not 2 of Richarlison, DCL and Pickford leave to raise funds for a team rebuild.

Think Mina , Gomes and Allan might be offski too.

So Mrs J off to charity shop this am so I'm on dog duty before I go to the gym and then do some gardening.

Had to laugh yesterday, although actually it's sad and pathetic at the golfers attempts to justify playing on the Saudi.tour ended in embarrassing silence. These guys are ludicrously rich already and to suggest that they are trying to popularise the game is just an insult to people's intelligence. Be honest and say the obscene amount of money on offer was too good to turn down.

The Saudi Golf tournament is infuriating me too. The greed of some people it really is unbelievable, they rather to enrich themselves and support a murderer such as MBS, than to uphold moral values that support human rights. As disgusting is the visit that Biden has planned to Saudi Arabia, it just shows how low the US government is willing to go to try to get lower gas prices for Americans. I rather to pay more money for gas than selling out our souls to the devil. Okay, rant over.

Morning peeps, just about.

Had my radiators installed and my new boiler, not changed much they don't look much different really apart from the boiler which obviously looks brand new and more digital. I've not touched it though cba breaking it already lol.

Just the flooring to do now on 14th and I can concentrate on decorating

That’s good news, T. Like Gwladysover mentioned, hopefully the new broiler will help regulate your gas better this winter as gas prices may be even higher. The 14th is almost here and the fun part of decorating will begin.

Hello again, cleaned the windows - went old school and used newspaper to dry them with. Looking good. Then while doing a bit of cleaning, managed to drop part of the hoover ( don't ask) into the beer stash. One smashed bottle, beer all over, house smells like a pub. Cut finger on broken glass, blood mingling with beer. I'm not cut out for this domestic goddess lark! ? ?

Ange. I hope your finger is okay and that it was in your less used hand, or less used finger ?

Don't know whether this is a good idea or not but just booked a holiday in Italy in September.
Hopefully all the travel chaos will be sorted by then and going with Jet2 who haven't cancelled any flights yet.
Off to the Amalfi coast - and going to tour. Looking forward to it.

Now I’m seriously jealous as the Amalfi coast is one of my favorite places ever.

Btw, if you decide to rent a car then I would recommend visiting the ruins in Paestum. There are three ancients Greek temples dating from about 550 to 450 BC and they are in excellent condition, I’ve read that even better condition than some found in Greece. Here some pics of our trip. Sorry if I have posted them before.
