I ain't renting a car to tour the Amalfi coast! I've done my research and we are based in a lovely hotel o the outskirts of Sorrento and will be touring by boat trips.

Totally understand, driving on the Amalfi coast can be super stressful. I would have not done it either had I not had a driving expert in the hubby. We drove from Rome too as we wanted to check out as much of southern Italy as possible. But the road on the coast is super narrow and it can be madness at certain times of the day. You will have an amazing time exploring by boat.
Are you not worried about getting water in your chianti ? or worse still limoncello !

Good morning all. Out this afternoon with Mr F. We're going for lunch after he finishes work at 12.30 and then to the cinema to watch Jurassic World. Should be fun.
The golfers continue to annoy me. Totally self-serving greedy individuals. I've also been watching the American news on CNN covering the Capitol riots last year. OMG! If Trump doesn't go to prison for this then there is no hope. He has tried to overthrow a democratically elected Government. Even his family have turned against him. Scary stuff. My Dad is convinced he is a Russian spy! I prefer 'unhinged megalomaniac'

Hi gang sorry I’ve been quiet … lots been going on not all of it great but nothing to worry about ..
I’ve been travelling in and out of Uk a bit too much lately but all of that is pretty much finished now
I have a couple of quiet weeks to paint here in Spain then it’s off to my Son in NZ to see my grandchildren for the first time in 3 years
They’re going to be so different by now but I don’t wait to give them grandad hugs and grandad jokes

Well Robert , maybe not dancing but gardening certainly and to the garden resucue ( God I hope Charlie Dymock isn't around ) to tackle some of those weeds. Lets hope that I'm more James Tarkowski than Michael Keane when it comes to the tackling them. Test match special will keep me company and keep the boredom at bay.
Then me and Mrs J will pop down to the pub and retire chez nous for some tapas.

When in Italy, just drive like the locals. Never use your mirrors or indicators, honk anyone not pulling off from traffic lights in the first 0.2 seconds, drive approximately 6 inches behind the car in front and park in the most inappropriate places possible ( pedestrian crossings and roundabouts seem the most popular ).
Think i will stick to my planned boat trips thanks
