I think, amongst all the gloom and doom, we lose sight of how many kind and good people there are in this world. I need to get back into some sort of activism or volunteering. I do miss it. I was asked to join the local parish council but after attending one meeting that featured a two hour discussion on hanging baskets I realised this was not for melol.

Morning all, belting down here, literally raining on people’s parades. There‘s a Jubbly picnic and fun day planned for the town where son lives and grandkids were hoping to go so feel a bit disappointed for them but it has got me out of a difficult situation as we were invited along. I've just been out looks like the rain wants too start, anyway on the way back I always see this old Volkswagen beetle van, it has a slogan on the side "Urban outfitters, pay good money to look homeless" I never am sure if it's an official UO van so I was having a closer look and in the back window was a flaming sticker of a golliwog a fair sized one as well, I was proper shocked, so doubt it's official. Horrible that I think.
