I've been adding you and your good wife to my prayers. As I get older, I find that the number of people that I have in my list is growing!!

Thankfully my own health problems are easing after a horrible 6 months.

Had my CT scan today prior to starting Radio therapy. Bit chilly inside the machine, glad to get back out in the sun. Copped rush hour coming home, an hour and a half to do 18 miles!

Morning coffee shop crew. Lovely day today thankfully, it has been pretty wet and cold all week so makes a nice change.

I've been watching quite a few of those animal videos, I find them quite uplifting. One thing I've noticed and it bothers me is the amount of animals that get trapped in human waste or human contraptions. Especially fishing line and plastic bottles, as a species we are so selfish.

Morning fellow Mascoteers,

Had a late on last night. Last table tennis ? event of the season , the Martin Machin Champions Challenge held at Leigh.

The Champions of the 6 North West league's all playing each other.

Obviously I wasn't playing but attended as a fan and Chairman of the Southport League. The comp was renamed in honour of my great friend who died at the ridiculously early age of 63 at the start of the pandemic.

Some brilliant ping pong but a ludicrously late finish after midnight and predictably ( as we were in Wigan ) no veggie food. Ah well I'm told that the free hotpot was excellent. However I did win a large box of Ferrero Rocher ( you are spoiling me Mr Ambassador, remember them) so Granny will be happy later.

As I was driving home I passed the Holiday Inn ......who the hell goes on holiday to Leigh?

Anyway I digress. Got in late and the lovely Rosie decided she need a pee at 6am. Thanks for that!

Gorgeous day so I will pop down to the cricket club for a bit of leather on willow , a pint and an afternoon nap!

Cooking duties for me today - Tacos.

Then a film tonight. Think there might be a football game on TV , strange thought the season ended a week ago.
