He didn't quit Wigan when they list 9-0 at Spurs![]()
we need to ensure that never happens again and get back to the levels which, at times, have been outstanding this season
The only thing I can think is that he didn't think Stones was up to it either physically or mentally and had no-one else.
WHAT. ON . EARTH. ARE. YOU. SMOKING?In fairness Alcaraz wasn't bad in the 2nd half and even in the first half. Alcaraz was awful but Jags, Coleman, Banes and Barry where no better. Their whole team just walked through us or hit it long.
Give them credit mate, they did score 1. But what followed sounds familiar at Goodison these days:
The fact that the 'R' word is even contemplated should be enough for him to be shown the door. It's unacceptable to be in this position with the squad at his disposal. Any manager in any other job would have had a 6month review and quit rightly handed their p45 for underperforming and not hitting expected targets.
Its not bobbys fault its the players - the same players who handled the same system with ease last year
Its not bobbys fault that the players have aged - 2 transfer windows pass us by without rectifying this
Its no bobbys fault that players make mistakes - the same players that he sees on daily basis, coaches and gives insructions to along with having the ability to drop these players
Its not bobbys fault that there is a revolt - L O L
Bobby IN
It could easily be argued that yes, these things are all his fault, as he has knocked all of the confidence that these players had right out of the ball park with his ridiculous organisational plans, which in turn seen a ridiculous reversal of fortunes and thus knocking all of the confidence out of the players.
Confidence is a massive part of a players make up. Once they lose that it can take 50% out of their game.
Nah, it's the best filter we got. This place makes me cringe at being a blue after adverse results. It was never like that on here.
The d-machine is on a noble quest to old skool game the most angry.
If he's so apparent then why do lids fume? Because his corn is just so tasty.
There's an ignore button but lids don't want to click it. He's in their heads.
I appreciate you're concerned but are we looking at this as if we are completely screwed? After we played Newcastle there was a new sense of optimism floating around and we sensed it was a game we dominated which we did. We got two wins that week, we lost last night which is majorly disappointing but it happens in football. We win against QPR we are more or less safe. Let's all just get back on the same hymn sheet. Martinez has the right up until christmas, can we all agree?
Fair enough... each to their own. I'd rather compete for 4th or 3rd or whatever and earn it than buy it.
Actually what am I on about? All about winning winning winning
Not me.
Christmas would be way too late if this malaise carries over into next season.
Give him a go if we must.....but pull the plug no later than Halloween or Bonfire Night if things are heading south.
But as a player at some point you simply have to be accountable for yourself and your own doing. You can only point the finger at others for so long.
There's a revolt?
Ace.
