Nah, we want the full range of emotions on here - even the King of the Kopite Hunt had a mini-meltdown last night. This place wasn't nearly called Blue Passion for nothing.

If we can't have swaying emotion and full debate, we might as well just all talk about our favourite owls

Soz lid but you got played. It's OK it's not your fault.

I see game in you and with good people around you in time they will develop you on here.

Not me lid, couple of pages in and you'll see I knew the way the owl was flying.

Orly is Brother Mouzone, flying solo with a healthy rep

Maybe because he didn't lose in the first round if the FA cup? And didn't lose in the first round of the Carling cup? And, of yah, they aren't fighting off relegation with EIGHT games to go??

Serious question: what other team that had top 4 aspirations WOULDN'T have sacked their manager of they had a season like ours?

I appreciate you're concerned but are we looking at this as if we are completely screwed? After we played Newcastle there was a new sense of optimism floating around and we sensed it was a game we dominated which we did. We got two wins that week, we lost last night which is majorly disappointing but it happens in football. We win against QPR we are more or less safe. Let's all just get back on the same hymn sheet. Martinez has the right up until christmas, can we all agree?

I know I am leaving myself open to millions of one liners like - yes!!!!:dodgy:

But is it really just me that after yet another disastrous defeat I search all forms of media waiting for the announcement that he has gone!!!!:celebrate:

Only to be disappointed as BK won't even give him a vote of confidence, that tells all supporters that he has been read the riot act and unless results improve NOW he will be taking a long walk on a short plank.

And then we will probably scrape a dodgy win at QPR that will be phenomenal and finish 17th, but with the promise that things can only get better.

Have to go now as am checking Liverpool Echo, bbc.co.uk, toffeeweb.com and then Mr Google, wishful thinking I know.

So bring it on, yes me!!!!!!!!!:coffee:

I quite like him... dunno why. I guess I look at other clubs and think, thank [Poor language removed] he's not in charge. Would you get rid for someone who would pump money in but lived in Dubai and didn't give a [Poor language removed] about the club?

Erm....quite possibly yes I would.

Mate we don't need another Martinez out thread will merge with any of the others.

Delayed posting until now because I was so angry last night that rational thought went out of the window.

What other manager would have

1. Bought Alcaraz ?

2. Played him ahead of Stones ?

3. Failed to play Besic as a man marker on Yarmalenko ?

4. Played with such an open system against a team that only needed to win 1-0?

5. Had such an immobile midfield?

6. Failed to change things at half time?

His arrogance and stubborness shows that he can't / won't learn , change or adapt.

He has to go . If he doesn't he will take us down , maybe not this season but he will.

How many of our star players will want to stay with him in charge ?

I agree that his arrogance and stubborness is showing its ugly head, i agree to that and its very much a problem.

However, Martinez can only do so much. Whilst his team selection and tactics seem very strange this season, is it Bobby's fault that Coleman simply cannot beat a man anymore ? Is it Bobby's fault that Coleman leaves gaps all over his side of the field ? Is it Bobby's fault Barkley has somehow lost the ability to control a football ? Is it Bobby's fault that suddenly Baines, who not long ago was one of the best deadball specialists in world football cannot take a corner properly ? and on and on....

I seen you throwing some slaps and buying some time so yeah, nice man.

Don't hate the players, hate the game.

The only thing the New York connect does not like to see under any circumstances is praise of Kopites or Falseteeth Flashman

Then the negatron comes strapped

Naismith stinks to high heaven in that role. So far out of his depth. He cannot pass, his first touch is woeful, when he does manage to control the ball he is too slow with it on the counter, his decision making is bang average.... Do i need to go on ?

The only reason he is in the team, THE only reason is because of his work rate. Naismith does not have the quality and never will have the quality to perform consistenly well in that role. He managed to score a couple of important goals and rather than stick to a system (with better quality of player), Martinez tried to force him in the starting 11 with Lukaku as a reward for slotting a couple. Naismith is not a number 10, he isn't a winger either. He has none of the attributes that a number 10 needs to perform consistenly well, that i do know.

You're absolutely right, Naismith is a striker, a penalty box player. When he's picking the ball up deep and looking to create, anyone can see it's not his game.

Fire from the hip brother. Fire fast and fire hard. It's shoot or be shot after a defeat on here and only a few get to walk out the saloon unscathed.
