Just a simple question: why? why do you think he will get things right? He's done NOTHING this season to think he will..

I don't have the cast iron answer but we must give him the chance he has earned to do it. We got knocked out of Europe by a good opponent, jeez these things happen to every football club. Liverpool went out the champions league without a fight. Why didn't they sack Rodgers then?

He hasn't done exactly the same thing though has he mate?

He's made terrible decisions constantly. Last season he was praised for making great decisions.

I don't know. I just really hate our manager at the moment, but want him to succeed as that means Everton are doing well.

We've played essentially the same tactics mate

They worked last year, because teams hadn't seen us do them yet

They'd seen Wigan, but we had a better squad than they did, hence we caught people off gaurd

Everyone has now had a season to get used to us

Stoke is the perfect example. We put 5 goals past them last season and took 4 points from our matches with them

This season, they took 6 points off us and we didn't even score against them

We were playing the same possession football we did last year, with pretty much the same players, but they completely nullified us

As did Hull

Slept on it, still miffed wish he would go. We need to salvage some pride and him and his tactics etc are found out. The season is too long in now for it to be knee jerk so I wish folks would wrap up saying that.

This has been a truly horrendous season from July when they reported back, the pre-season was a joke, staff have resigned and we didn't strengthen the areas that needed strengthening.

On top of that he constantly picks his favourites, something Moyes was bemoaned for. No other manager would have survived this season,at ANY other club. OUT!

I think you are looking at it far too simply mate.

I agree teams have wised up to the tactics, and the importance of Baines and Coleman to our attack, but then the manager needed to change it. Months and months ago.

Then add to the fact Stoke and Hull are essentially different teams this year. Impossible to compare to last year.

Not THAT different mate. Not different enough that Stoke have kept us out twice in two matches. They've still got a similar side. That's as much down to our tactical naivety than it is Stoke all of a sudden being a much better side

They must have been over the moon when we rolled up to the Britannia and played the way we did. We played completely into their hands. And Hull's and Leicester's. WBA calmly shut us down with no bother. To think how poor they are and yet them came to Goodison and got one of their easiest points of the season

The fact remains that we've been sussed tactically and the manager either can't or won't mix it up

He did against QPR at home and we played much better, but it was back to the usual from then onward

Because they are not talking about relegation.

They are fighting for a CL spot.

We wont even be in Europe next year.

Do you really think he's going to get us back there?

As much as I want Martinez out, Moyes back is just as bad. NO. Plus he's only just got a job, why would he ditch that to come back here. Very strange shouts.

How has he earned next season? If he was like this last season then we would have all wanted him gone then. But he wasn't which has earned him this season only.

You get a lot of teams have an upsurge in performance when they change the manager which we had last season but ultimately it doesn't last and they eventually find their level which worries me that this is now our level.

It's not all about style of play though mate.

Last year we could defend. This year we simply can't.

I thought he was learning a lesson the last few games being a bit more direct and mixing it up a bit,
then biggest game of the season he goes back to tried and tested players , which is fine if it had been working but it hasnt.
My mate tx me as soon as the team was out and I said we are going to get beat , this after being quite confident about going through.
He can't play the same team twice in a row, some players get in no matter how they perform Barry, Howard imagine what that does for the
Other players like Roles ,Besic , Gibson .
last night just before we scored the cameras went onto the Everton fans and showed two woman looking downbeat
I know them Kathy and Irene both been going for years , and I thought to myself they deserve better than this rubbish served up by this
Clown, he hasn't the europa to hide behind now and needs to either shape up or get out , not bothered about last season, it's gone
And you could make a case that this season is more like his one before with Wigan, worse in fact as we have better players ,
he isn't doing a good job anyway you dress it up football's boring, were not winning, and the club is not in better shape going forwards players coming through ect
so it's either earn the right to stay by having a decent end of season at least or the sack as soon as it's over for me.
