That is bit insane interpretation , but would u agree he is play much games and by much i say when injurys and cards allow him same formation and same players. To me and this is not law it s opinion hes lost. That last night when we have 2 1 advantage is wrong 11 to send out and wrong tactic and number of times hes wait to long with subs. Osman at list should play if u wanna attack them before Atsu.

You said he 'has no plan B'. That implies to me you think Martinez does the same thing week in week out. Fair enough if you think he plays the same players too often but you have to remember Barry and Besic are the only 2 central midfielders who haven't missed large portions of the season due to injury, hence why they have had the most game time.

Similarly, fair enough if you think we should have played Osman instead of Atsu last night, but Atsu was causing them problems in the first half down the right and pulled a great save from the keeper in the second. Our main issue last night was Alcaraz forgetting how to defend for 5 minutes. We were comfortable up until those 2 goals imo.

What worried me was the lack of changes at HT, he had the opportunity to salvage something, he lost a massive amount of respect there and our pride is in tatters. The performance, the result the epitome of Everton.
I have no idea why he didn't haul Alcaraz off after their 2nd goal.

I suppose we should be grateful he at least took Naismith off who played awful but as always Barry was on to the end even when you could see that Barry shaped hole in the middle of the pitch. The same Barry shaped hole that has been there all season whenever we've tried to attack teams and play an open game.

That said. Would he have taken Naismith off if he didn't have another of his favourites, Osman ready to come on. I didn't even think Atsu played that badly. He wasn't great defensively but he certainly was better than Kone or Rom.

What about the other 3 goals.

They put 5 past us and hit the bar, should have been clean through with a one on one (dody offside) and had a host full of other chances.

It was more than centre backs not doing their job. The whole team has forgotten how to defend this season.

Everyone from Rom right through to Howard (who at least we can't blame).

You miss my point , we had lead . We go out with same team like we always do. Naismith is totaly not neded in that game, Ok Atsu did some good but Osman is more Exp . Why Mourinho is having so good results , becouse hes practical and he would go Two lines and counter last night . Barry is really gone . Look at there 4 goal please . With Barkley last night form we could take them. He go out and play like he always do and Dynamo show us in first game they are not Young Boys. I just saying he sometimes play to often same players in same formation and that is easy to read.I did not say he play every game with same players but when he could he did.

What a spineless ****! So if we hadn't have conceeded those 3 goals from shocking defending we would have went through. How can you not blame the defense or anyone in particular.

You know he's not going to drop Alcaraz. He just doesn't have the bottle to sit his mate down and say "listen you were bad, I still love you as a person and a friend but I can't start you against QPR."

FUMEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

To be fair it's how I've seen it. He puts a lot of faith in his players to perform. Alcaraz has been "solid" in terms of results the past few games. So he's based his decision on that.

Same with Howard for Robles. Barry playing consistently. It's based on what they've done long term, so he's put faith in that.

It's his downfall

I think Barry is a scapegoat in a flawed system. Now don't get me wrong I'm not saying Barry shouldn't of been taken out the side at times. Yes at times he's played bloody awful and looked every bit the aging player BUT this system has put the defence and DM's under considerable pressure week in week out. Even McCarthy has looked very average in this years team. Matic would struggle playing under this clown!!

Despite last night's debacle, I don't want him sacked. Yet.

I would wait until the moment we are safe from relegation and then I would sack him and Alcaraz.

Flirting with relegation with ten games to go is not acceptable, but I would have let Martinez off if we'd got to the EL final. Now he's thrown that away, his only salvation in my eyes would be if we take at least 18 points from our remaining nine games - and I can't see that happening. We have four games to play against teams staring relegation in the face, three against teams scrapping for European places and the remaining two are both away, against West Ham and Swansea.

All the goals were a result of poor defending and he refuses to accept this.

This piss poor antics of alcaraz couple with a midfield who just allowed runners to go past them and allowed players to stroll to our penalty area and smash one.

Each goal could have been stopped at the root and that's been my argument from the start of this season.

The defending has gone to absolute shambles and he has refused to acknowledge it, change it and address it in the transfer window; hence he is responsible.

David Moyes likes this.

A good manager is one that gets the best out of what he has available to him. Yes Moyes did things that annoyed us at times but generally got the best out of what was available to him and probably not even Fergie or Jose would have got Everton any higher than between 5th to 7th, which apart from the one season that the Bobby lovers refer you, Moyes always delivered.
I cannot think of many managers who, with the current players available, would have us knocked out of both domestic cups at the first stage for the first time in our history and deliver crap numbing football week on week in the league. We were never going to go all the way in this Europa. I knew at the start of the season, and said to the other 3 season ticket holders who I go each week with, that once we get to knockout stages then as soon as we play a team with know how we will concede 4 or 5 in the away leg. It was a cert and what his teams do.
Get rid.........simple. And for those who say we are playing football and believe in him, let's sit down and talk about this season match by match. Utter dross. Last season was overrated and again I told the other 3 guys who I go with. Arsenal away last year is the one the Bobby lovers rave about and I agree they hardly got the ball off us in the first half. Watch it and ask yourself what did we create in that first half? Possession is nothing if you don't create anything. Distin to jags, jags to Barry, barry to Coleman, coleman back to Barry, get rid of the clown as he CANNOT get the best of what he has available to him.
Mourinho summed it up perfectly after they beat us a few games ago.

"They're a team that like to keep the ball"

Martinez plays the worst form of Tika Taka in an era when even the best teams have been found out playing it.

I hate to say it but I wish Sherwood was still available.

I would have Sherwood as manager in a heartbeat, he may be a total bellend but at Spurs he looked decent and has steadied a sinking ship at Villa. I would be happy if Martinez tried to change things but he sees nothing wrong as he is totally stubborn hence his ridiculous comments last night.
