Wouldn't disagree with that. My concern is that, for most of the season, we've forgotten about the move part in "pass and move". It can be argued that that's down to lack of confidence, injuries and age catching up with some players, but it's crucial to the way we need to be playing under Martinez.

Too often it's been pass and amble gently into a marked position. It was different last season, so the personnel can do it, but Martinez has failed to get enough players to take a bit of a risk with a pass and a run into space to receive a pass. He's in charge of coaching so he has to take the blame for it, and also has to fix it for next season.
I agree it's way too cautious. The most maddening aspect for me is the passes are not into the path of a player receiving it. Momentum is lost by giving just to feet or a little behind the receiver. And checking back when we break. That has to stop.

£75.35m net spend? Really?

The main ones who won't return will be the ones who bought a season ticket on the back of Martinez's first season, they
were let down by what they saw this season, let down badly,IMO, by the style of football played. n
If they expect that every season, I think they are going to be sorely disappointed
We will have some great seasons like last season, we will have some poor seasons like this season
In the main we will have OK seasons....it were we sit in the big scheme of things

BT sport showed an extended interview with Brown shoes before the Sunderland game- in that interview he was saying that the Leicester game from the start of the season was major factor to our failure this season.

I am sorry but the man is a dreamer at best and coupled with the other dreamer in the main stand we are all being tricked except for the players who sussed this out last summer. The job is too big for him and he does,nt have the man management skills to handle the players which I think has been a disgrace the way it,s all been handled since the summer by pushing it all back on to the players and staff at the club.

I only see one outcome to this, more duplicitous statements and excuses for the new season. It,s time we all woke up.
I think you have been having dreams that you support an all winning al conquering team, that play fantasy style football.
Time most people woke up to the fact we haven't been very good since the mid 80's
