Fair enough, but the level of football reduced the crowd, most of the time to a library quietness, it was that dull, I've
never ever heard Goodison park so silent for long stretches of games in all my time of going to watch Everton, I hope
it changes next season for all our sakes, but I will be amazed if it does under Bobby.
Mate, goodison has been quiet for years other than the odd game against one of the big boys

I went into this season with a sense of apprehension, simply because we were so good last season my gut feel it all had to backfire. I have been disappointed and annoyed this season, also surprised at the way we have played. I look at RM and yes he has made mistakes and he has been stubborn, but there have been changes and he has hopefully learnt a few lessons. I blame the players as there is no real leadership Also they have shirked responsibilities and taken the easy option which usually means backward or sideway passing. The supporters have been very quick this season to vent their annoyance, usually with booing. I know people have a right to voice an opinion, but I have not witnessed it as bad as this season.
Overall it has been a horrible season, I think more because peoples expectations were at a very high.
We have had mediocre seasons before, but for some reason this season people seem to believe we have been watching Barcelona type football for a long time and our standards of good football have completely disappeared
And RM takes the blame

Which people?

I suspect that's not why most are booing, probably more because we are useless.

I have under many a manager, I do believe people forget how poor we have been.
I have said many times people think we have been playing Barcelona type football for the last 20yrs.

The people who want RM out, they talk as if we have been world beaters and RM has destroyed everything

Where were all these admirers when I used to tell GOT Moyes did a good job? lol

He's taken us massively backwards tbf, our football is dull and yields poor results, how excited would you anticipate fans being about that?

I want him to stay, there is something that says that there's a chance we could do something good, but I felt more optimistic under Moyes than Martinez if I am honest.

And as for destroying the good work of old, I suspect many refer to the defence as much as anything, which is an utter shambles.

My problem is I liked Moyes and liked what he tried to achieve, but I wasn't optimistic under him. He bottled it in to many games were it mattered and he was terrible with a plan B. I admire him as he stabilised us and got us fighting above our weight, but we never played attractive football...played some good stuff at times though. Under RM I am more optimistic and I think he can go on to achieve...maybe a cup.
Sadly under Moyes he never had the instinct to win, he was a percentage man and it worked great for us
Only time will tell, but whoever we get is a gamble
