It's ignoring the money we got for selling Fellaini, jelavic and anichebe the year before and it's adding on wages.
I thought it was based on spending for this season only.

think that's what he's trying to say, it's only based on what we sold and bought this season (and this years wages) while we obviously used the felli, jela, and vic money to cover some of that spendingI thought it was based on spending for this season only.

they aren't and shouldn't but think @tim cahill is saying while the chart has us with an outlay of 75m its misleading due to the cutoff for the chartI am still not understanding it, Blue.
Why would the fees received for those players last season be included in a chart depicting this season's dealings?
No goal keeper no striker shakes head.Out ! He ain't after a striker
we pretty much need help all over the pitch besides LB so you have to priortize considering we can't shell out 100m+ every window. We rarely play two up top so if it's between spending 10m on a 2nd striker or spending that 10m on a 3rd CB I think the CB is more important. Look what happened when stones went down this season, or a winger. We're also crying out for a playmaking no 10 to help us unlock the defense when teams still back and those don't come cheap. Everyone was shouting out for Robles but now we need to buy a new GK?No goal keeper no striker shakes head.
Lowste I think they expected to be entertained quite a lot more than they, and we, were. I understand what to expect,If they expect that every season, I think they are going to be sorely disappointed
We will have some great seasons like last season, we will have some poor seasons like this season
In the main we will have OK seasons....it were we sit in the big scheme of things
We needed a goal keeper two seasons ago Robbles was given a chance and soon had that taken away from him and to go with Lukaku and kone for another season is ludercres. We're also crying out for a playmaking no 10 to help us unlock the defense when teams still back and those don't come cheap. would you rather go with Rom and Kone (with naismith, kev and maybe even Long able to come in if needed) or Stones, Jags, Alcaraz, and browning? We needed a goal keeper two seasons ago and to go with Lukaku and kone for another season is ludercres.
I went into this season with a sense of apprehension, simply because we were so good last season my gut feel it all had to backfire. I have been disappointed and annoyed this season, also surprised at the way we have played. I look at RM and yes he has made mistakes and he has been stubborn, but there have been changes and he has hopefully learnt a few lessons. I blame the players as there is no real leadership Also they have shirked responsibilities and taken the easy option which usually means backward or sideway passing. The supporters have been very quick this season to vent their annoyance, usually with booing. I know people have a right to voice an opinion, but I have not witnessed it as bad as this season.Lowste I think they expected to be entertained quite a lot more than they, and we, were. being an Evertonian for quite a long time, what I certainly didn't expect was a season of absolute mediocrity and less.
You can't tell me you were happy with that and I bet you expected and wanted better than what was served up.
Fair enough, but the level of football reduced the crowd, most of the time to a library quietness, it was that dull, I'veI went into this season with a sense of apprehension, simply because we were so good last season my gut feel it all had to backfire. Overall it has been a horrible season, I think more because peoples expectations were at a very high.
We have had mediocre seasons before, but for some reason this season people seem to believe we have been watching Barcelona type football for a long time and our standards of good football have completely disappeared
And RM takes the blame
