Must be something in the local water round here.. it's definitely unpure around Melwood and Lower Breck Road tho.. where the water is clearly infected with a virulent strain of BS.

I'm more disappointed by our EL finish than our league performance.
Yeah, me too. Another year with no trophies is the big disapointment. That Kiev game was a heartbreaker.
all the money but the 4m on besic was used on players already in last years sqaud, turning rom and barry into perm signings. we didnt really add to the squad muchI'm gutted by our league position after the money we laid out on improving this team from last season tbh.
I'm made up we won yesterday, but it doesn't mask the disappointment of a poor season for me.
Cut the media drivel, lose the stubbornness and keep on with winning football matches like we have been and we'll be boss again in no time.
This! And they all got 1 year older which in the case of Barry, Distin, and Alcarez was a major factor. As the number of games increased, Barry looked shot in many games. He can only really perform one game a week.all the money but the 4m on besic was used on players already in last years sqaud, turning rom and barry into perm signings. we didnt really add to the squad much
yup. everyone sees we spent 30m+ so assumed we should have improved when we spent most of the money for a long term benefit (keeping Rom permanently) not improving the squad directly in the short termThis! thats a fair assessment. still don't think stones was fit enough to play so if not alacaraz it wouldve had to have been someone like Browning or playing Barry/Besic therePlaying Alcaraz in Kiev though
Worst decision he's made since joining the club as manager
That being said, he's bounced back somewhat since then
As I've said earlier, I'll save any judgment on him until December

most likey, besic used to play CB at his old club. just see people saying he shouldve played stonesBrowning or Besic would have been infinitely more preferable to the Knackered Paraguayan
