I would not call Stones not ready. He has been sitting on the bench foe over a week. I rather place my bet on Stones. A ready Alcaraz means fook all.

Barry is an absolute gonner, 100% his legs have gone. Gone to the level Phil Nevilles did. McCarthy didn't have a clue who to track because he had runners everywhere. An absolute key position and Martinez puts Barry in. Baines = awful, Coleman = awful, Alcaraz = as bad as your ever likely to see, Jags = played superb once the 5th goal was conceded. When you have a backline playing that bad with a holding midfielder you aint got a hope in hells chance. Who does that fall down to? Manager because he's the tit who has played these no marks game in game out when they haven't been deserving of a place. Nope. I'm not saying I want him to stay, especially in the long-term, as I believe he's shown his inflexibility and egocentric nature.

Time is almost up! Nevertheless, I'd be concerned to whom we'd approach as a replacement if the decision was taken before the season's end.

Would we simply going for a short term replacement such as Ferguson and would this actually work in changing our fortunes?

Or would we go for a knee-jerk but less desirable long term option, for example someone who will not really offer what we require?

Perfect option would be for him to go and a top manager to come in, but that's unlikely before the Summer.

I would give it to Unsworth until the end of the season..
