This game reminded me of the debacle at anfield last season, when we got level, we should have calmed the game down instead of leaving ourselves so open. Martinez has shown, yet again, that tactically he is naive to the point of being clueless.
I don't get it though. What evidence is actually there to suggest he's capable of turning it around next season and having us fighting for Europe again? We'll have several key players leaving, Tom Cleverley coming in, Gareth Barry and the Scottish Zidane still starting every game. But yeah, it's going to magically click into place one day!
Solo lo useless Spanish [Poor language removed]
Yeah...cheers Roberto, nice guy an' all but your not going to move this club forward from here on in...adios amigo xCheers one and all.
fair enough for the first part of your post but this has been bugging me with alot of posters, why is it always the "Spanish" "American", etc clown but when an english player is crap, they're just crap. Why is Barry not referred too as an "English clown". Like I said not having a go at you just genuinely curious!I don't get it though. So let me get this right: Martinez gets us to one result from the QFs of the EL and should be sacked?
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha.
That's ****ing hilarious.
He got the tactics very wrong tonight.
They are not that great really,we gifted them that tonight.
Not the managers fault that individuals can not perform basic defensive tasks
Look, every assessment of Martinez changes from game to game.Davek that's true and all but the Europa League wasn't just a distraction. Without it he would be gone by now.
The fact that you're saying he should be OK because we're not going to get relegated sums it up. We should be expecting better than that.
Frankly I would still trust in him if things had improved but they haven't all season. We've looked unfit and soft and even when we did stop leaking goals we accomplished it by effectively parking the bus. Once we've tried to open up and attack teams tear us apart.
The only teams we've beat this season have been those that are hideous. Even in the Europa League. Lets be honest we where lucky in a lot of those games.
Are you crazy do you think 3 points against bottom of the league QPR makes everthing ok.Correct.
This was a distracting jaunt into the unknown.
Three points or a point at QPR on Sunday and the world goes back into place again.
The swings in emotion on here are hilarious and embarrassing at the same time. Grown men acting like this....I wouldn't mind, it was only on ITV4!!!
thought it was GOT standard to have a cheese on toast option...Voted in, mainly because of the lack a cheese on toast option.
We were shocking defensively and something needs doing about that, or we're always going to get found out. If Martinez can't do the coaching defensively, then he needs someone to come in and do that.
But we all know what'll happen with this poll. We've lost, so it'll be a landslide vote to get shut. If we'd sneaked a 3-2, 4-3 or 5-4 and progressed on away goals, then he'd have been a genius and the vote would have been a landslide in the opposite direction.
Utterely scandalous manager . He is not fit to manage any side in any league . Assuming we beat QPR (which won't surprise me if we don't) .. I am fearful for next season and our premier league status
Too many under performing for me esk.
His setup and style isn't complimenting the players he has and the amount of unforced errors is a symptom of the players not being right for his playing style.
We needed evolution from Moyes. Not revolution.
