Nope. I'm not saying I want him to stay, especially in the long-term, as I believe he's shown his inflexibility and egocentric nature.

Time is almost up! Nevertheless, I'd be concerned to whom we'd approach as a replacement if the decision was taken before the season's end.

Would we simply going for a short term replacement such as Ferguson and would this actually work in changing our fortunes?

Or would we go for a knee-jerk but less desirable long term option, for example someone who will not really offer what we require?

Perfect option would be for him to go and a top manager to come in, but that's unlikely before the Summer.

I don't get it though. What evidence is actually there to suggest he's capable of turning it around next season and having us fighting for Europe again? We'll have several key players leaving, Tom Cleverley coming in, Gareth Barry and the Scottish Zidane still starting every game. But yeah, it's going to magically click into place one day!

There's never a right or wrong answer in these things - all I ask is that people make their minds up based on a long term assessment, rather than just as a dumb reaction to one result.

Voted in, mainly because of the lack a cheese on toast option.

We were shocking defensively and something needs doing about that, or we're always going to get found out. If Martinez can't do the coaching defensively, then he needs someone to come in and do that.

But we all know what'll happen with this poll. We've lost, so it'll be a landslide vote to get shut. If we'd sneaked a 3-2, 4-3 or 5-4 and progressed on away goals, then he'd have been a genius and the vote would have been a landslide in the opposite direction.
