Its easy when things are going well

Oh see I thought it would have been harder to manage egos when you first walk through the door of a club.

A bunch of players who played with a previous manager for years, a new manager with no top league experience has a footballer or ever managed at a big club.

Think that's when it would have been most difficult, not after 12 months and not after we've had a good season.

People love martinez because he talks a good game and speaks about what he can do, like a cult leader, and people follow.

His previous record in the top league, coupled with this season results is remarkably alike, almost identical, a statisticians wet dream if you would.

People don't want to believe it, fair enough, it's you prerogative; shouting people down as some do, because they choose not to believe is borderline cultism

So you want him sacked then?

Thats no problem, you have already made your mind up, nothing will convince you otherwise?

I wish I could make my mind up, hence I feel giving him at least the next 9 games.

He might not even need 9 games, I mean we could lose the next 3, then im sure it will only be Davek saying give him more time.

If he adopted a Plan B, approached these last few games differently and owned up to getting his approach wrong, I'd be happy to give him to Christmas. The results are very much secondary to those things happening in my view, as it'd indicate he had the ability to actually evolve his management and not be a perpetual Wigan manager.

But if we played tippy tappy and he kept on saying the same absolute [Poor language removed], then we could win all nine games and I'd still want him gone, as I know that when the pressure is on to do it when it matters, we're likely to fold.

This is a position I had with Moyes too - I saw him bottle nearly every game that mattered, so when we had similar dead rubbers it meant nothing to me under him.

Liverpool at home, chelsea away and arsenal away were parking the bus jobs, weren't they?

I dunno, we've been pretty bad in cups under him. Now it's a small sample size and like I said I felt that he would do well in cups here given the wigan precedent but it seems to be hope rather than evidence here, tbh..

I wouldn't say so really. Yes he tightened us up because previous games had shown that they could hurt us but I still think the intent was there to stay tight but look to play footy and search for a goal without being gunho about it. We all know he needs to tighten up and stop being too gunho and I think he will take that on board try to rectify it but still have the mentality of looking to win.

I think I'm pretty much set on wanting him gone now.

I can accept over-playing in and around the opposition's box, like Arsenal and City do, but after months of watching this team do it in their own half, I'm done.

He's turning Everton into Tony Mowbray's West Brom.

We are playing for pride really, so will be interesting to see if the players perform for the Manager. He is a dead man walking in my opinion, I honestly cannot think of any manager who could of performed so poorly with the squad he had. He is way out of his depth I hope we can attract a quality replacement in the off season with plenty of time to sit down with the players and de-martinez them

I'm a bit torn really, part of me thinks he should be given until next winter to see if he can turn it round.

But the other half is full of dread as to what damage he could do in the summer when we're going to have a high turnover of personnel.

Cleverley sets the alarm bells ringing as he's completely useless and nowhere near good enough for us. If that's a sign of what's to follow then god help us and I'd be tempted to say bye at the end of the season

Cleverley in an Everton shirt would be a sad day in the history of our club. Hope it's just a tosh rumour as he's quite clearly nowhere near good enough for us, or indeed any Premier League team.
