I enjoyed the Hitler comparisons.
Hitler was a stubborn dictator, no one could get him to change his strategy; knowing that a 2 front war would be disastrous, he embarked on it (Europe and PL?); when his generals asked to retreat, he told them to fight to the last man and ignored all the dangers of his philosophy (familiar?); and when it all fell around him, he blamed everyone but himself.
He was feted by many for his early victories and it took too many too long to realise the harm he was doing. Those who criticised him were browbeaten by the diehard fanatics who couldn't see no wrong in him. Eventually he fell on his own sword. Forget the analogy, our dictator is too ignorant to end it himself.

How in the name of all things Buddha has the Martinez "in" vote grown over the last 48 hours following on from his newspaper interview? Some people must deluded and are very easily led.

Possibly folks are preparing to give him a second chance on the back of us beating Kiev on Thursday ?

I'm of a school of going to a game and enjoying a skill, a piece of talent that makes something happen, that gives you real pleasure

Steven Naismith bobby, he his the man to give us that

winning is very, very important but you can chase that dream with good football, not just ‘finding a way' to win.”

And you certainly are chasing the dream, unfortunately the "good football" part is missing

I can tell you Iv'e had scores of PMs from people telling me they changed their vote from Out to In after last Wednesday night. I cant reveal actual content, but the general tone of the PMs was: "I kneejerked there Dave. I've come to my senses now though. You cant sack a feller who ran up a record 72 points last season. That'd be the act of an utter belter. That's me now behind Roberto until the end of the season and beyond."

I dont know if that answers your question.

Yet Jose Mourinho has tailored his tactics to stifle the opposition to win silverware. “It’s different when you’ve got the best players and that’s more a specific game-plan for a specific game. I’m of a school of going to a game and enjoying a skill, a piece of talent that makes something happen, that gives you real pleasure. Winning is very, very important but you can chase that dream with good football, not just ‘finding a way’ to win.”

From the telegraph article.

We'd better get results in the next two games, somehow with this system that so far hasn't been working. this basically says he'd rather take a team down than compromise his principles. Scary.

“These players need time. They need help on the way from everyone at the club. We are all allowed to vent our frustrations and show our emotions but we need to be realistic as well and conscious that we are working on something for the long term. These young players will take us somewhere special.’’

Will they stay for the duration of this ongoing project?

Joel has shown he is ready to step into No1 but Tim’s had a very strong season, he’s very experienced, and with a very important responsibility in the dressing-room.

Doesn't even need commenting on

I'm very concerned he's living in a fantasy land, where he thinks this system will work without huge investment. Unfortunately we know the clowns at the top won't let this investment happen so is what he wants to do possible in the modern day football climate or is there one inevitable outcome?

“Yes, yes, but I’ve been down with 36 points and it’s very tough to get 36 points in this league. It was very painful because it was on the back of winning the FA Cup. The FA Cup final got in the middle of achieving that and we paid the price.”

Martínez does not believe the Europa League will prove a similar distraction but Everton need to pick up some Premier League points quickly, and then focus on building that stronger future under their principled, industrious manager.

How is it different?

I really want this whole long term to work, but again, is it possible?

Are you suggesting that Martinez should shoot himself?

Be calm...be calm...JONESY's spoken again & it's ALL gonna be ok, the answer's been there ALL the time...

And Jones, a former Football League striker in his playing days, says Kone will help Everton move away from the bottom three.

“His one versus one qualities are as good as anyone,” Jones said.

“He gets hold of the ball, his character is phenomenal, he is the most level-headed and even mannered person you will meet in your life.

“Physically, he had serious, career-threatening injury that we have needed to manage and he’s got himself back to a level that he will contribute. I have no doubt in my mind that he will contribute, but it has taken time and that’s where we are at.”

Jones has also taken extra time to help nurture the talent of club record signingRomelu Lukaku, who he said can be “ruthless” in front of goal...'

We have been rather poor, not winning games and then we have some thing like this! It beggars belief TBH.

Does it really make a difference though.

A) it's a meaningless poll on a forum
B) it's not going to have any affect on any decision made at the club.

I don't understand why people are pandering to you with regards to this, it's quite strange that they can't just say that they had a change of opinion.
