Be calm...be calm...JONESY's spoken again & it's ALL gonna be ok, the answer's been there ALL the time...

And Jones, a former Football League striker in his playing days, says Kone will help Everton move away from the bottom three.

“His one versus one qualities are as good as anyone,” Jones said.

“He gets hold of the ball, his character is phenomenal, he is the most level-headed and even mannered person you will meet in your life.

“Physically, he had serious, career-threatening injury that we have needed to manage and he’s got himself back to a level that he will contribute. I have no doubt in my mind that he will contribute, but it has taken time and that’s where we are at.”

Jones has also taken extra time to help nurture the talent of club record signingRomelu Lukaku, who he said can be “ruthless” in front of goal...'

#PHENOMENAL
An utter non-story.

Well done.

The wheels have all but come off your lots bandwagon.

7 days before you lot have to hibernate again. Enjoy.

We have been rather poor, not winning games and then we have some thing like this! It beggars belief TBH.

I find it odd that Mr Jones appears to not have opened his mouth once for interview at WIGAN and hasn't here until the last two days. An affirmation/support tactic, naturally, but....well even this is the same old shiz, with the same old words just flopping out the gob...

'An utter non story'...

From an utter non-interview Dave, the same force-fed positive dirge, it was nice once, now it's just bland...

Does it really make a difference though.

A) it's a meaningless poll on a forum
B) it's not going to have any affect on any decision made at the club.

Totally agree with this. The board have a plan and will stick with it.

I'm confident we won't be relegated and think the only way Martinez won't be in charge next season is if he gets dogs abuse from a significant % of the fans in the end of season parade after the Spuds game. He's a proud guy but if Goodison turns against him big style at that point I reckon he'd walk.

I remember him carrying round his baby last season with a huge grin on his face and I think we've got someone who totally understands us. I hope to see him doing something similar at the end of next season but nothing's for ever, and, if it's not to be, then the club's more important than any one person, which is something his predecessor lost sight of.

I don't understand why people are pandering to you with regards to this, it's quite strange that they can't just say that they had a change of opinion.

I think if that many have changed so be it for what ever reason, it will only hold as far as the next game or two depending on the results. AS for the EL, okay nice to tuck a trophy away but for me not at the cost of our PL status. The PL is the more important for me which is why I worry over RM's comments and that he seems incapable or does not want to address the clubs predicament at the expense of compromising his style. Said it before and will say it again, irrespective of the manager we will not go down. But just say if we did have this disaster would RM jump ship the same way he did with Wigan?

He done a few when they first got the job mate but I know what you mean. I think he's just trying to take the heat off Bobby and stepping up a bit. That interview which has come out from Martinez was done on Friday, I think the best thing he/we could have done is told all press to do one and keep it schtum until next Wednesday for the pre match of Kyiv.

I think people know my stance on RM, and what you've said is true. I just don't understand why people are scared to air their views and have to go running under the radar.
